*PAULS POV*
Maddie and i walk out to my car and put out bags in. I watch her hop into the passanger seat. KI dig my keys out and hop in the drivers side. I start my beautiful baby up and pull out, Waving to the remaining fans. "You alright?" I ask Maddie. She shrugs. "i dont really know." She says putting her head in her hands. I didnt really know what to say. She was hurting, and I cant believe Danny would be so stupid, To do basically what i did awhile back when Becca and Danny were dating.
"You wanna talk about it?" I ask Maddie. She shakes her head no. "Alright then." i say. I turn the radio on. "No, Here are two guys who have been climbing there way up to the top, they go by Exclamation Point, heres Dare you!" The radio says. "Wait, time begins to flash, your still wrapped up in your past," it sings. i panic and hit the off button, but Maddie was already crying. I laugh a bit. "Just our luck huh?" i say. she look at me. "Ok then." i say focusing on the road ahead of me.

a few hours later, Maddie was asleep. Thank god. My heart was starting to break from all her crying. It starts to get dark out. I flick the headlights on and smile to myself. Maybe this was the end of Maddie and Danny. I loved seeing them both happy, But i could make her Happy. She was mine first. And Danny looked pretty damn happy sucking on Taylors lips. So im sure he would be happy. If i could just get maddie to get over Danny, and what he's done. I could have her back.
*DANNYS POV*
"Come on Danny, Lets go do something before you have to go back to Maryland." Taylor begs me. "No!" i scream at her packing my bags. "I'm going home to try to convince her what we did was stupid. I dont love you Taylor." I say harshly. She looks at me. "Fine." she says walking out. I sigh. Finally. I walk outside into the cool night and Get in my car.
I couldnt stop thinking about Maddie. Her face, Her laugh, everything. I know she wont take me back. But i have to try. She is my life. And Paul needs to realize, he screwed up by cheating on her with Becca before. He cant just swoop in and take her away while shes vonerable and upset...Can he? no, no Danny he wouldnt do that to you. Hes a good friend. But then again, hes in love with the love of your life. and She has feelings for him to. Shit.
I started to get tired, so i decided to pull into a rest stop. Wait, Is that Pauls car?! No way, i found them! i pull in and get out of my car walking towards the red car. I peek in the windows sure enough Paul and Maddie were both sound asleep. I had a serious choice to make. I could open the door and scream at them like a crazy man. Or open the door, pick up maddie. put her in my car and drive away like a crazy man. Hmmmm. I shrug and walk around the car to maddies side. i quietly open the door and unbuckle it. "Dont." I hear Paul say. Crap. Busted. "She needs to be with me Paul, You know that." i say. Paul gets out and i shut maddies door so we dont wake her.
"You really screwed Yourself over Danny. Shes been crying non stop for about 4 hours. If you loved her so much, you wouldnt have done what you did. So leave. Im taking her home." Paul says to me. I graon. "I know i messed up. But you cant do this to me Paul. I need her, And she needs me!" I scream. i watch Maddie sit up in Pauls car. She turns then opens her door. "Maddie, just stay in the car." I say. she walks over to me. "Why?" she asks me. "Why'd you do that to me?" she asks me. "You know im sorry. it was a mistake." i cry. "I thought you loved me." she says calmly. "i do Maddie, you know that i love you." i say. "i love you to. but we cant keep doing this Danny. I think we are done." Maddie says. And at that moment. My whole body was numb. I couldnt breath, i couldnt move. "We'll see you in maryland." Paul says getting back in his car along with Maddie before they drive away. I still stand there. Maddies words playing over and over in my head.
