"Prue!" Voight shouted out to the girl. Prue pocked her head into the lounge seeing him walking into the apartment. A tired look on his face. She frowned as she walked over to him and hugged him suddenly. "What's this for?" he asked with a soft chuckle, wrapping his arms around her and resting his cheek on her head.

"You look like you needed it." She whispered snuggling into the hold. "I kind of wanted a hug to." She said happily. They stayed that way for five minutes, Voight enjoying the warmth after the case they had received.

"How was the station?" He asked her, taking a seat.

"It was good, Boden wanted to pay me for fixing everything, but I told him the payment was already made when he let me fix things." Prue said smiling as she finished cooking dinner. Plating their food up she took the seat beside the older man.

"Any run ins with Dawson?" He asked her.

"Nope, I did meet Severide, he was nice, he asked me if I could fix something in his squad truck thing, I was happy to help. He learnt things about me, and I learnt stuff about him. It was nice." She answered with a smile.

"That's good." Voight mumbled as he dug into his dinner, having not eaten for some time. "Hey, I want you to stay here tomorrow," Voight said to the girl. Prue frowned but she saw the look in his eyes, a case, a bad one.

"You got it," she answered with a nod. "Should I do a lock down?" She questioned.

"No, just stay here, I'd feel better if you don't go out. But if you feel comfortable to do a lock down, go for it." Voight whispered to her. Prue nodded her head accepting his words. They finished up their dinner, Prue being thrown out of the kitchen as Voight did the dishes, the girl had cooked he didn't want her to have to do the dishes as well.

Prue watched the news, wanting to see what was happening out in the world when she got a text from Bucky.

Bucky-bear: 'Hey kiddo! How you doing?'

Prue grinned before responding back: 'I'm great, Chicago is amazing, and I have a new family here as well, but don't worry they won't replace you guys at all.'

Bucky-bear: 'I'm happy for you munchkin.'

The two continued to talk as Voight finished the dishes, Prue pretend to be watching the TV as she really didn't want him to know about the dimension stuff at least not for a while. When he was gone Prue yawned and wished Bucky a good night, before going to her room and changing into her pyjamas. She walked back out and saw Voight now watching TV. She walked over and sat beside him curling into his side. Voight wrapped an arm around her let her curl into him more. It was like when Justin, when he was younger, and he would curl into him. It made him smile.

"You ready for bed?" He asked her gently.

"Yeah," she whispered before standing up and stretching. She looked at Voight and pursed her lips before hugging him and keeping her eyes on the floor. "Goodnight dad." She muttered before speed walking to her room. The door closed.

Voight chuckled before going to his own room and going to bed.

Prue managed to sleep in for once, until she remembered that she was to stay inside. She was not breaking that promise. Getting up, she walked down the stairs to find Voight had left her a note reminding her not to leave, and that he had made sure to stock her up on food, he also told her that if something was wrong to press the panic button. Smiling she set the note down and started making herself some food. She jumped onto the couch with a bowl of lucky charms, watching Charmed.

"Piper is legit." Prue whispered happily. She was a grinning mess as she watched the Tv series. She loved Charmed, Piper was her favourite, yes, she loved the character Prue, but she felt weird about it.

It was lunch time by the time she decided to change into normal clothes. Putting on some mom jeans, a white crop top, and her white vans, she raced back down the stairs, as she turned the stereo on, playing 'That's my Girl.' By Fifth Harmony. She was dancing around the place as she cleaned, flipping over the couch time and time again, keeping her skills tight. Now singing along the young girl, froze, everything in her body became stiff, quickly she heard the sounds of thundering feet. So, Prue used her web shooter and pulled herself up to the high ceiling, as she soon scuttled across the roof, hiding from view.

The door came down with a loud bang. She was actually a little petrified as she watched three men storm the apartment, the music playing still. She took a deep breath in as she snuck her way across the roof, the men not seeing her. She slowly made her way into her room, the door closing softly behind her. Landing on her feet gently, she ran to her phone, the thing charging. She quickly grabbed other things like her web slingers. She also grabbed the shield that Shuri had made for her a while ago. She breathed in deeply, before grabbing her phone and pressing the panic button.

In the office, Voight was talking with his team when an alarm went off in his office, his eyes widened seeing that it was the panic button. "Gear up now!" He shouted to the team. "Someone's broken into my apartment!" He explained as he and Olinsky bolted out of the office down to the cars.

Prue watched as the message was received and she almost sighed in relief until the footsteps approached her room. "Don't chicken out Prue." She whispered to herself, holding her wrist up with the web slinger. This one with the knockout gas. She lifted her mask up to cover her nose and mouth, letting it filter the air around her. She breathed in as the man slammed the door open, instantly a ball of web was shot into his face, the gas taking immediate effect. She gasped as one of the men shot at her through the wall, her shield up in defence, the small fourteen-year-old ran to the window and climbed out, as the bullets rained onto her shield.

She swung herself onto the wall and climbed down, feet landing on the ground. Her shield on her back covering her head as she ran, more bullets raining down. She turned the corner out of the alley hearing the sirens. She huffed as she bolted in the direction of the sirens, she was running fast, really fast, she beat even Steve would be impressed. Voight spotted Prue, slamming on his breaks. He rushed over to the girl as she lunged into him.

"I forgot the lockdown." She huffed.

"Are you okay though?" He questioned her.

"Yeah." She answered. "I used my web slinger, and shot one of them with the knockout gas, but one of them shot through the walls into my room, but I had my shield and used it to cover myself before climbing out my window." She said quickly nodding her head. "I don't like guns," she stated still nodding her head. "They're a horrible invention. Bow and arrows I can at least slightly dodge better."

Voight sighed as he pulled her back into his arms, his team inside his apartment, finding the one who got hit by Prue's knockout gas still there on the ground.

She had caught one of the suspects.
