Chapter 2

Hello my fellow readers, here's the second chapter of the book. Since the Marvel timeline hasn't kicked off yet it will mostly be Adam learning about the Mystic Arts so there will be a lot of time leaps.

Also, can someone give me a list of the years the movies take place so that I can adjust my story to it. I seriously have no idea and would be grateful if you would.

I wrote the second chapter since this is a relatively new book. The updates might start to slow down as I also have to take care of the other books as well.

It took some time but Adam was able to convince his parents to leave him in Kamar-Taj. The Ancient One promised them the safety of their son and also told them that they could contact him as well. This relieved them a bit as they went back to their home though they were quite reluctant.

Adam was now in a training garb given to rookies training for the Master of the Mystic Arts. He was currently walking alongside Mordo as they were making their way to the training area. They were silent as they made their way through the halls of Kamar-Taj.

After walking for sometime they reached the area as they entered an open area, which was the same place Dr Strange started his magic training.

"Alright students we have a new disciple joining us. Please treat him with care." Mordo said to the group of 24 students in front of him and Adam.

The students looked at him as Adam got a bit nervous from the looks he was getting as he averted his eyes from them.

"He's a bit nervous around new people so don't mind his behaviour that much." Mordo said to the students.

The students nodded to him as Mordo then gestured Adam to stand with the other disciples. Due to Adam's height he was taller than most disciples as he made his way to the back while the other students looked at him. He then stood at the last row at the left column.

"Alright, for this practice you are to practice drawing on the energy of the universe. As you've been taught beforehand, we Master's of the Mystic Arts perform our magic by using the energy present in our universe. Your task right now is to meditate and draw on the energy. Now start." Mordo said to the disciples as they all sat down into meditating poses.

Adam was a bit slow but he also got into a meditative pose as he closed his eyes like the other students. The students stayed like that while the other disciples were training around them. Mordo looked at the disciples as sparks started to appear in the hands of some of the students. Adam opened his eyes when he heard the sound and saw the hands of the disciples.

Then he saw Mordo looking at him then he closed his eyes while Mordo has an amused look on his face. Not too long sparks started to appear on the hands of all the disciples except for Adam as he looked at the other disciples with a jealous and frustrated look. Mordo saw his face and smiled.

Adam then took a deep breath and then let it out as he calmed himself down and then started to call on the universe energy. While that was going on the Ancient One had appeared in the area as the Master's bowed to her along with the students. Mordo also bowed to her as she smiled at him as she turned her gaze to the disciples.

She looked at the disciples and then her gaze fell on Adam who had a calm face. She was curious because he didn't create any sparks but it was to be expected as a new student creating sparks on their first try was quite rare.

Adam on the other hand was calming his mind and was thinking about drawing the energy of the universe.

'Calm down, the energy of the universe, I have to control it. I need to draw on that energy first and then learn to control it.' Adam thought to himself.
