"I've never fallen in love, but I've always wondered what it felt like... but it seems like I'll never know," Daiki muttered to himself as he lay cold, despite being on the warm summer grass, gazing at the stars, wondering if he'd become one of them when he was gone.

It must be the blood loss, there was no way he'd start thinking stupid sappy things like this, especially not now, not after what he'd just done.

He wondered if he should call someone, he was dying after all, but would he even be worth saving after what he's done? The losses? He's the cause of so many people suffering.

He chuckled to himself as he thought about his past, it wasn't necessarily his life flashing before his eyes, more so of him reminiscing on his past.

But there wasn't much to think about, hell, he hadn't even made it to his 18th birthday yet. and everything he had done until now hadn't been under his control, and it had been a routine. 

Search.

Collect.

Dispose.

Maybe this was his way of attoning for his sins? That was his reason for not calling for help.


but as he let his eyes fall shut, the universe had other plans for him. He felt a warm sensation against his cold skin, but he didn't bother opening his eyes.

That was until he felt someone tending to his wounds? As he finally became aware of his surroundings he heard the faint, worried voice of a woman. But sadly he couldn't make out what she was saying, well even if he could he barely remembered anything after that.

There was only he warm touch when he was laid upon some type of bed, and loud sirens, which led to the flashing bright lights of the hospital hallways passing over his head, and he finally opened his eye. 

He saw the doctors and nurses of course, but what stood out to him was her

Her tear filled hazel eyes... or were they green? He didn't care, he just thought they were astonishing, everything from the beauty marks scatting her face and shoulders, to the crimson droplets that had somehow made there way onto her skin.

Am I... in love?
