Late for school

Julia ran to school as fast as she could! The streets were super busy and the traffic lights kept turning red. Julia kept pressing the crosswalk button multiple times to speed it up!

"Come on come on!" Julia stuttered.

Then the light finally turned and Julia was able to cross. Julia ran across! A passing car drove by and accidentally splashed Julia when it drove through a big puddle.

"AAAAHHHH!" Screamed Julia, who was now soaking wet. "Come on I just showered and changed!!!"

This was no time to sulk! Julia continued running! A Chihuahua barked at her and chased her!

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!" Julia yelled and ran faster to get away from the dog. The dog kept barking and caught up to her! It grabbed her skirt!

"Let Go!" Julia yelled and tugged at her skirt!

The dog growled as she tried to tug her skirt away from it! They kept fighting until Julia's skirt ripped!

"My skirt!!" Julia yelled!

"Ciccio!" Called a lady, running to her dog. "I am so sorry!" She said to Julia.

"No worries..." Julia said with a fake smile.

The woman walked off with her dog. Julia couldn't believe this was happening. She was having a really bad morning.

Finally, Julia arrived to school. The were no students outside, chatting with their friends and walking around. This can only mean one thing. Julia opened her classroom door.

"Julia. You are late!" Said her teacher.

"How late?" Asked Julia.

"One hour!" Said the teacher. "You have detention after school"

"Detention?" Julia gasped.

"Afraid so Julia. Now please go take your seat."

Julia sadly went to go sit at her desk. This day just keeps getting worse.....
