Final Exams Part 1

Class the next day was fairly normal, except for when Aizawa announced that finals were coming up. Basically, the finals were going to be split into written and practical exams and if we failed either, we had to take remedial classes during summer break. The rest of us would partake in a training camp over the summer

"That's all" Aizawa says, "There's only one week left before your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly right? Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about. Good luck"

"IVE BARELY EVEN TAKEN NOTES THIS SEMESTER!" Mina and Kaminari both exclaim, Kaminari panicked but Mina relaxed

"With the sports festival, I didn't have time to read the textbook" Kaminari groans

Kaminari was ranked 20th in the class in intelligence and Mina was 19th. The lowest two in the class

"It's true that we haven't had very much free time lately." Tokoyami says

He was 14th

"I doubt they'll pull any punches when it comes to testing us either" Kirishima says

He was 15th

"As someone ranked in the top 10, I'm not worried" Mineta says smugly

"YOU RANKED 9th!!!" Kaminari exclaims

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONE OF US" Mina says

"YEAH SOMEONE LIKE YOU IS ONLY LIKEABLE IF YOURE STUPID!" Kaminari says, "WHOS GOING TO LOVE YOU NOW!"

"Everyone" Mineta smirks, "Trust me"

I was ranked 7th in the class so I wasn't too concerned about how I would do. It was mainly my friends who each ranked in the lowest quarter of the class that I was worried about

Momo offered to tutor practically half the class in preparation. When everyone accepted, her face lit up with excitement and she started rambling about how she was going to prepare and what kind of tea to make.

Class ended with everyone getting into some kind of study group. Except me. I wanted to focus on training a little bit more. I asked Kamui to see if he could train me a little more. He agreed and said he'd even bring his sidekicks along to help if possible

Lunch began and I sat with the usual crowd, except this time they were less chatty and more nervous

"You all look like you've seen a ghost" i chuckle, "You that worried about these midterms"

"Hell yeah we're worried!" Sero says, "We all ranked in the bottom 5"

"Yeah. Our only hope is Momos tutoring" Mina groans

"She seemed pretty excited about it" i say, "I think she'll make a good tutor. At least good enough for you dumbasses to pass"

"Thanks..." Kaminari says sarcastically

"Aizawa said it's going to be a comprehensive test of everything we've learned in class" i say, "That's all we could get out of him anyway"

"So then it'll cover combat training and rescue training." Mina says, "Oh and basic training too"

"We can't just study, we have to stay in great physical shape" Kirishima says

I suddenly feel someone bump into the back of my head. I turn and see one of the class 1B students looking at us smugly

"Oh sorry. Your heads so big that it's hard to miss." He says

"Monoma right?" I ask coldly

"I heard you stumbled across the Hero Killer" he says, ignoring my question, "Just like in the sports festival, Class 1A isn't happy unless they're the center of attention. But you do realize that your not in the spotlight because people think you're a hero right? It's just that you keep getting into so much trouble."
