It was a dark cloudy Monday before the beginning of a new semester of Mednim high school. Soon the halls would be full of idiots that don't know how to count to 10, I know I'm thinking the same thing "how can they be so dense?" Well I have the answer. Sport based school. That's all. Don't expect me to break out into song about this because this isn't this type of school. Now, you may be wondering who I am. That is a secr- "Hey, Iris! Look what my teacher gave me!" okay, now that was weird but now that it's out. Hi, I'm Iris and that was my best friend Lily. She's a major teacher's pet to the point of sleeping with the gym teacher to skip gym. Stupid as it sounds, it works for her since her dad is a successful sports company and her brother and sister are both star athletes. Me on the other hand, I'm the youngest of two older brothers. Both are major jerks at school but know boundaries.... Kinda.
"Iris, mom told me to hand you this since you forgot it on the counter" said Menphis. That's the middle brother and only a junior in the hell hole. "Thanks dude, I was wondering why that wasn't in my bag." I said with a small, unhappy smile. He handed me my homework and my phone charger that I meant to leave at home so I could skip that class. I hated that class for many reasons. 1. It's a culture class 2. The most annoying person was Stacie. Her and her boyfriend piss me off more than the teachers crowding me looking for the next star in their games. I mean I could still skip, but I'd most likely run into my eldest brother and his girlfriend. If you put two and two together you'll know why. Well, you'll see soon enough. I walked away from my 5'10 brother just to bump into my 6'2 oldest brother Steven. "Oh, great" I whispered under my breath. "Ew! Don't touch him! Your loser status will get all over him!" Stacie said with a smirk on her freshly glossed thin lips. "Good to know you still don't have lips due to all the ass you lick Stacie." I said laughing until I looked up to see my brother's face twist with anger with a hint of laughter. "Sevin." I looked at him with a straight face, no hint of anything in my eyes. "Sis." He looked the same and turned back to his friends and continued the conversation while I walked a way fixing my bag heading to the back door near the cafeteria to sneak out for the rest of the day. Sadly, someone had the same idea as me.
"Hey dude, I saw the run in with the legendary Sevin and Stacie. Was it magical?" Ugh! Welcome the only guy that wishes he was my brother, Elias. "No, he was just as annoying as always. Even living with him is getting annoying." I said, rolling my eyes, showing him that I don't wanna talk about my brothers and don't want to talk to him. But knowing the look in his eyes he wanted to talk more but before I could walk away from him and my favorite hiding spot from reality he gently grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him before my mind could register what was happening. I felt his minty breath on my neck causing a small shiver run down my back. Slowly he pulled a leaf out of my hair and chuckled lightly "expecting something?" I quickly pulled away from him feeling disgusted with myself even thinking I wanted anything from him at all. "No, you're way too gross for me to even want a simple hand shake." I said quickly with my lip twisting up in disgust.
