Lost

New beginnings

Have you ever been alone with no one to call family or someone to depend on, well that's me most people would expect me to be sad and depressed but I actually make the best of my situation I still go to school and I will be graduating in two days.

"Hey Riri" my best friend Crystal says. Believe it or not we've actually been friends since kindergarten most of your so called "friends" would have abandoned you but crystal has been with me for 21years of my life, which was basically my whole life.
"Hey crys" I reply back "So you ready for the big day on Friday?" She asks excitement oozing out of her, "yeah, I have my final test in about... right now!" I say picking up my pace almost running "Sorry, I have to go see you later" I say without waiting for her to reply.

When I was done with my test I was positive I aced it. As I was walking I didn't watch were I was going sooo....we can all guess what happened...I bumped into something and I fell staggering backwards and landed on my butt after realizing what had happened I quickly got up and apologized. "I'm so sorry I didn't watch were I was going I...I really..." I said trying to find the right words. I finally looked up to find a tall, muscular man with big Hazel eyes, and a chiseled face.

"Its okay". He's deep, velvety, voice said. I just nodded in reply and began picking my stuff on the floor, I looked up to find him gone hmm...I guess he had somewhere to be.

After school I told crystal everything that happened with the mystery stranger. "You know, maybe if you watched were you were actually going maybe you would know 'hey there someone in front of me I should try not to hit him' I know that's what I would do" she said sarcastically "Hey I told you because you're my best friend I don't need you to make me feel bad about bumping into someone, accidentally I might add". I stated matter-of-factly. She just nodded.

We were at our favourite place to hang out after school which was a very popular froyo place called Frozen Treat down by the road not too far from our apartment. We were currently sitting at our favourite booth by the window. "Hey, so do you want to go manhunting after school is over?" She asked "umm...man hunting that sounds dangerous" I replied a little uncertain. "OK so all we have to do is just drive around and go to the mall to look for really cute guys and flirt with them a little" she explained, "So, basically be desperate". I replied not really interested. "No not desperate just think if it as... you can't find a boyfriend so you're making your future boyfriend find you"she said.
"Remind me why I'm friends with you again?"

"Uh because you love me"

"Yeah sure, whatever helps you sleep at night".

She just rolled her eyes at me and a small smile crept on my face.

After getting froyo we said our goodbyes to each other and went our seperate ways.

I walked up to my door and opened it. My apartment wasn't really that big it had three couches placed in the middle and a small flat screen TV mounted on the wall. In the far right end was the kitchen it had an island surrounded with high chairs, and a flower vase in the middle. It also had a stove, dishwasher, sink, medium sized fridge and an oven.
Down the hall there were two doors on the right, one of which was my bedroom and the other was the guest room. On the right wall was the bathroom and crystal's room when she came over, which was always dark, and that was pretty much it.
I walked down the hall to my bedroom stripped off my clothes and climed into my warm fluffy bed.
But before I could go to sleep one thought lingered in my mind 'what would tomorrow hold?' Dwelling on that one thought I closed my eyes and almost instantly I was carried into a deep sleep.
