Chenle eyes opened to his mother sitting next to him. He felt a sharp pain in his body and he whimpered grabbing the attention of his mother. She held his hand asking if it hurts a lot.

"It doesn't anymore mom. Because you are with me now." Chenle managed to say between whimpers due to the pain.

His mom just smiled and shifted closer to him.

"Let's go somewhere far away, just live a peaceful life just you and me. I don't want to lose you again. I am tired." His mom said as tears started forming in her eyes.

Maybe she was right. Chenle's life was always at risk. Maybe if they left all of this and shifted away, the reunited mom and son would live a great life.

Chenle didn't want to lose his mom again and just hummed in response.

Their attention was grabbed by the gate creaking open.

It was Jisung.

He looked at his mom and bowed as his eyes shifted to Chenle who had a small smile on his face.

"Are you feeling better now?" Jisung asked, sitting on the empty space of the bed. Chenle nodded his head in a yes.

Jisung slowly placed his hand on top of chenles, their hands intertwining in each other's.

"I am sorry for everything Chenle. And aunty I'm really sorry for what my dad did. The moment I got to know what he did , was the moment I shot him to death. He deserved it. Infact I will now also make sure you are alright."

His mom smiled at Jisung.

Soon the doctor visited Chenle, changing his dressings and checking for the other wounds.

It had been a week. Chenle was a lot better and was able to walk properly in spite his mother telling him to not do so. But he was already used to this.

A few nct members,  Chenle and his mom were downstairs on the couch talking to each other.

"You are not going for any mission for a month! Stay with your mom now." Taeyong joked as the others chuckled.

"I am not going to do any missions anymore." Chenle said grabbing everyone's attentions as everybody's smile faded away.

"What do you mean?" Renjun asked.

"I'm leaving the mafia world. My mom and I now just wanna live a peacefulife now. I don't wanna put my life and hers on risk again "

Everybody was shocked. They didn't want Chenle to leave. He was one of the teams main asset and a good person too.

They asked him to stay but he denied, not changing his decision.

"Please stay Chenle" jisung begged him with a tear in his eye. But chenle didn't change his decision. Now thay his mom was here with him, his main priority was taking care of his mom and keeping her out of any risk.

Jisung and Chenle cried in each other's arms knowing they would probably never see each other again. Wiping the tears away they glanced each other a smile as Chenle got up but Jisung pulled him back.

Jisungs hands were wrapped around Chenle's waist as both of them held an eye contact. Without a second thought, Chenle pulled Jisung in for a kiss.

And do I have to explain what happens next ;)
