"KAI! KAI WAKE UP!!"

A blond haired boy was forcefully taken out of his peaceful sleep when he heard a voice shout directly into his right ear. He yelped loudly from shock, which happened to scare the person who woke him up twice as much.

Making the person let out a high pitched scream.

And that's how Kai knew who it was.

"What the hell are you doing at my house so early in the morning?" he groaned.

"Got a problem?"

Kang Taehyun, Kai's best friend, threw himself onto him, attacking Kai with tickling his sides. And because Kai was a bit ticklish when it came to Taehyun, he started laughing and screaming.

"TYUN GET OFF!"

"NOT UNTIL YOU WAKE UP!!"

And Kai wasn't going to let him win this game, so he tackled Taehyun as well, causing him to screech loudly and laugh in between.

"YAH, stop!"

"Try me!"

Due to neither of them paying attention to how aggressive their game was becoming, they soon slipped off the bed, hitting the floor with a loud thud.

"OW!!"

"Everything okay?" Taehyun asked immediately.

"Yeah, and now, will you answer the question?" Kai asked in return.

"I came here early so we could walk to university together! It's our first day as freshmen, and I wanna enter the building with you on my side!"

"Awwww I like that! Lemme change then!"

"Okay!"

After Kai finished fixing and dressing himself for the day and eating breakfast, he and Taehyun started their way towards the university.

One profit of living in a small town meant that you could mostly easily reach your destinations in no time and that was the case for them.

It only took ten minutes on foot, and soon they found themselves in front of the tall university building, with a proud sign at the main entrance gate that read: Yeongsoo School of Music for Elites.

And not to mention, in the midst of a huge crowd of people.

"Are you nervous?" Taehyun asked.

"Definitely," Kai responded.

"Honestly... same."

"Well, at least we got each other."

"Mhm—"

Taehyun's words were interrupted when he felt Kai grab his arm out of nowhere and swiftly pull him to the side. The sudden movement happened so fast that Taehyun barely grasped anything.

"Woah what was that for?!"

"That was what for," Kai replied, pointing forwards.

Taehyun followed his finger until he looked into the direction Kai was aiming at.

Two dudes on motorcycles had driven into the campus grounds without a clear warning, and were swinging their legs off their vehicles.

Both of them sported the stereotypical 'bad boy' look: black ripped jeans, leather jackets, and differently colored t-shirts.

After parking their bikes, they both took their helmets off, revealing more of their faces (which were handsome but neither Kai nor Taehyun would admit to that as of now).
