Emma Larsen Pov:
Me and Nora walked around the club for a bit without the others. Lina has already found a guy and is probably making out with him in the bathroom. Lina was supposed to make sure Matilde didnt Get so drunk , but she failed. That ended up in us finding Matilde drunk as fuck, as she was talking about a perfect wedding flower assortment to a guy that was willing to listen to her. We took her back of course, and now she was sulking about how much she misses her flowers. Interesting woman.

I took a good look around the club to see if I could spot Lina when i see.

The guy
The same guy that I bumped into in the restaurant , and then Nora said he was hot. We all agreed.
I take a closer look at him and observe

When he is leaning against the bar looking at his phone i see again that he is jacked, has muscles like he's an athlete, maybe he even is. His colourful yet plain blue/green(the club lights made it hard for my eye to catch which colour it was) T-shirt is sitting nicely over his chest, his hair is brown and the light is so dark I can't spot his green eyes I made eye contact with earlier. He has glowing olive tanned skin.
He is kinda Cute.

I want to go over to say hi to him, but wouldn't that be weird? What am I supposed to say like "hey you're kinda cute, and I hope your sister is well?" I laugh at my thoughts
"I'm gonna go grab a drink"i say to Nora as she nods and approves
I walk over to the bar and just looking and hoping he would come over.

"Looking for me?" I hear a manly raspy voice from my side. I turn to look at him. He is smirking at me. "I saw you flash a look at me in the restaurant" he says and I blush
"Care to answer?" He talks again in his thick Spanish/ Italian/ French(i have no idea) accent
"Yeah"  I mumble out
"I'm Mateo" he says
"Hi Mateo" I say smirking
"What's your name?" Mateo say as he looks me in the eyes. The green, a beautiful green
"None of your business" i answer him shyly, but still wanting him to act interested.
"Okey , you're a little feisty aren't you? "He smirks at me
I pull on my own smirk for this one "Maybe I am ?"
"I like you already, can I buy a drink?" He asks while laughing. I act like I think about it. I nod and his face lightens when I did. "I'll grab a peach mojito" I answer him and he smiles.
"I'll be right back then my lady" he says and I laugh.

He walks over to the bar as I take up my phone to text my girls so they know I'm safe

Nora: okay, me and Matilde is by
the vip section😋 also Lina came back to us

I like the message for them to know I saw it. Mateo still stands at the bar while I think about how many possible ways my girls got into the vip section. Just as long as they're safe and together, I'm fine.

"Here's your drink" Mateo smiles at me shy and he sets my drink in front of me
"Thank you" I simply smile back
We sit and look at each other when Mateo breaks the silence " sooo what brings you to Monaco?"
"Mostly a girls trip and I also have an interview here so I thought could take both while being here"
"ohhh What are you searching for, like jobwise?" He asks with a look of curiosity.
I laugh a little, I thought that this kinda questions are a bit weird to ask on a kinda ish date? What even is this, I ran into him in a restaurant, and now I'm having drinks with him. He's hot so I'm all good really. I smile as I clear my throat.
"I'm an architect and I have gotten a quite good job offer" i answer him
"Architect. Cool. I will hit you up if I need help drawing a house"he says awkward. I chuckle.
I don't have the energy to find a new question so I just ask him the same " what are you doing in Monaco?"
"I live here. I work here, well mostly. And my life's here"
"Wow, that must be cool, and expensive. What job did you score?" I ask him
"I am a formula 1 driver" he says.
"what's that?" I ask confused
he looks at me and laughs
" just search it up when you get home"Mateo answered embarrassed

" well, now I have crossed off one of my questions, and onto the next one. Where are you from" he looks me in the eyes
"Norway, and you?" I smile knowing that he's probably never been there
" I was born in Spain , but I'm also Italian" he answers, and then he look at me in a more soft manner.  I nod in understandment
"Hey I know we just met but do you wanna come to the race with me? It's on Sunday, you don't have to but I would like it if you came ." He asks me
"I mean, we only met like 2 hours ago and you seem nice, so yes maybe"
"Awesome, and also my sister is fine btw. She said to tell you if I ever met you again" he says, and I smile from him just caring about his sister.
" do you have more than one sister or?" I ask him
"Nope just my sister, and you? You have any siblings?" He answered
" I have two older sibling" I say
"Ahh you're the youngest eh?" he says and I nod.
"How long you staying in Monaco exactly?" Mateo continues
"Two weeks, how about you?" I ask him
"My next race after Monaco is Barcelona, and is in 3 weeks so around two weeks for me too" he explains. We chat and I find myself really liking this guy. I smile and laugh around him.

It turns to be quite late and I'm about to leave and Mateo talks again " hey, could I get your number maybe" he asks shy, and I let out a chuckle
He gives me his phone so I could type in my number. I didn't fill out the name part, so he stood there a bit confused.
"My names Emma"
"Emma, I like it" I blush at his words
" bye Mateo"
"Bye Emma" he says as he smiles, and he leans in to kiss my cheek. I instantly blush.
I might like Mateo a bit
