Ghost Hunt

Chapter 10

Rani walks up to Finney and then snaps the cable of the phone.

Finney tightly puts soil into the phone to make sure that it would hurt the Grabber as Rani kicked the air getting read to fight, she thought of everything Vance had taught her. 

"Finney, just so you know. If anything happens...", Rani speaks to him but he cuts her off.

"Nothing, will go wrong we'll make it out together!", Finney says and then hugs her tightly as she pauses but then hugs him back.

The two stand together staring at the door opening but as they get ready to fight they see revealing a man, "No, F*cking way! I knew, he was hiding something down here from me.  Holy Mary mother of God".

"Can you help us?", Rani asked with her mouth gaped open in shock.

"Can you call my dad or my sister", Finny desperately pleaded.

"No, no. Don't worry he's not here", he tries to calm the two.

"He had to go to work. I'm Max, stay calm. Hey, you wanna know the story of how I found you two", Max says to them as the two kids shake their heads, no.

Before, the two kids could speak. They see the Grabber appear from behind with a large axe as he killed the man. The two kids back away screaming witnessing the murder.

"Look what you made me do. You made me kill my brother", the Grabber tells the two kids.

"No, it wasn't me. We didn't do anything...I-", Finney says stepping forward as Rani looks in horror trying to comprehend that they just saw someone get murdered in front of their very eyes.

"He was an Idiot but he was my idiot. I'm sorry Max, now I'm gonna have to put you with the others. Looks like you'll finds those naughty boys after all", The Grabber says walking closer. and moving his brother away.

"What's up with the phone? I told you it doesn't work!", The Grabber yells as Finney flinched and Rani looks at the boy with sympathy.

The grabber then says something that Rani couldn't reciprocate as she clenched her stomach as Finney looks at her concerned, she shakes the feeling off and then looks up at the Grabber and nods at Finney in gesture to sure she was fine and he didn't need to worry.

"Samson", The grabber called as a large angry dog comes down the stairs. The grabber then tied the dog, near the dog making it difficult for them to attempt to run through the door. Rani grunts as her planned had failed of making a run for it. 

The Grabber then swung his bloody large axe towards the kids only for them to spilt up dodging the attack. The two then quickly run through the hallway jumping over the covered hole. The grabber runs after them but falls in the hole as he then snaps his ankle and the two hear his scream of agony.

Rani looks at Finney who had been the one to pull the rope for his to fall.

Finney then uses the phone to punch him as Rani joins in breaking the Grabbers nose, "You B*tch", he yelled at her.

She doesn't listen and starts to continue to hit him as Finney does the same. Finney then goes to punch him again but the Grabber holds his hand and pulls him down as he strangles him. 

Rani looks unsure how she should hit him without hurting Finney but then she kicks him on the ear as she does this she also pulls his mask off making the Grabber yell frantically. He let's go off Finney and Rani pulls Finney off him.

Finney then repeatedly punches the Grabber with the phone. He then looks at Rani who nods at him, she kicks the Grabber's face as the Grabber moves his head back in pain. Finney is able to wrap the phone cord around the Grabber's neck, strangling him.
