I was laying down on the bed replaying last night in my head. That conversation could have gone so many ways but I didn't expect us to argue.
I kinda feel bad.
No, he laid down with me to make this child and now he wants to just intervene like its his duty, fuck that.
Becca had taken Aaliyah out because I wanted to nap but now I have got myself all worked up and I'm too emotional for a nap.
I push my head further into my pillow and I am so tempted to scream, but before I do I hear the doorbell ring.
I groaned and picked myself up and walked down the stairs, I walked right up to the peep hole and saw Dave on the other side.
My hands quickly come up to my head, smoothing out my hair. I wrap my nightgown around my body again just to make sure it's tight and smile before opening the door.
Before I could even process what was going on, his warm lips pressed into mine. I didn't kiss back at first because who does this man think he is?
My arms interrupt my thoughts as this makes their own way round Dave's neck and I feel him deepen this kiss and oh lord.
We kissed for a few minutes longer and I realised that I'd missed his lips. The way they feel and the way they taste. I was kissing this man like I craved this man but I was in a trance. I physically couldn't stop myself.
I could but I just don't want to.
Wait am I admitting that I actually like this? I question myself.
Like he felt me drift away, he removed his lips from mine and looked at me. The biggest smile appeared on his face and I instantly started cheesing.
I felt like a teenager all over again.
"I am obsessed with you," he said.
I push my head into his chest and sigh. I know this can't happen but I am at least going to enjoy it whilst it lasts.
"You do remember Darwin, he was my cousin."
I shake my head at dave.
"Man you do? '' he says, getting irritated.
"He used to have the biggest crush on me" I say with a smirk.
Dave looked up at me, shaking his head. "Why are you always saying that, that lil boy was just being polite."
"Mummy" I hear a little voice from the kitchen.
I look over and see Aaliyah there with an angry Becca.
"We went on a big wheel mummy and the lights were so bright at the very very top" Aaliyah continued to tell me with excitement in her eyes.
"Aw baby, come here and tell me all about it" I say whilst opening my arms out.
I look over at Becca whilst Aaliyah is running towards me.
"I'm gonna go" she mouths, which I am grateful for as Dave is literally an inch away from me.
"Aunty Becca is going to go, say thank you A '' I tell Aaliyah once she's reached me.
Whilst they exchange goodbyes, I look over at Dave whose eyes are staring right back at mine. I go all shy and look round the room before Aaliyah takes my attention.
"Who are you?" she says with her finger pointing directly at Dave.
