Chapter Two

Harold and Lenex were both just sitting in the car while the music was blasting. Both of them were just staring at the misty black car, that had just pulled into the school parking lot. They saw the door open and saw a tall, brown haired, boy, rugged looking teenager, walk out of the car and head to the front door. Harold looked back at Lenex and asked her why she was just staring at the boy in the car. Lenex just shrugged that question off and got out of his car and fasted walked all the way inside school. Harold was trying to keep up with Lenex, but when he did he saw Lenex heading up the stairs to her first period class.

Lenex walked into her first period class, which was history, and realized that she had a couple more minutes 'til the start of school bell rings. Lenex looked around the classroom and noticed her best girlfriend, Eleanor, walking through the door. They both ran up to each other and hugged like they haven't seen each other in a whole month, but they saw each other two days ago. They were talking about where they might wanna sit and Lenex was talking about the little dance party she had with Harold in his car before school. But Lenex did not talk about the walk to school, she felt it might've just been nothing.

Once bell rang, Lenex and Eleanor migrated over to the two desks at the desks in back by the side wall. Everyone was entering the room while the teacher was welcoming everyone back from break. The tardy bell rang and everyone was seated, just waiting for the teacher to start his welcome back speech and his holiday stories. During him talking to us and joking around, the boy, from the black misty car, came walking in with the counselor. Everyone's eyes moved toward the door. The teacher walked over there and started talking to the counselor quietly. While they were talking the boy was just looking around at everyone in the class, until his eyes stuck on Lenex. Lenex noticed he was just staring at her and she looked down at her phone in lap, under the desk. Eleanor noticed what Lenex did and El then tapped Lenex on the shoulder and gave her a confused look. Lenex just shook her head and put head back down to look at her phone.

The teacher then looked back at the class, that was still staring at the new guy, and said, "This is Cole, he is new at school. I want everyone to be nice and welcome him to town." Then the teacher gestured to Cole to take the seat next to Eleanor and Lenex. Eleanor introduced herself and Lenex to Cole. Cole looked at them, waved and looked at Lenex. Lenex looked up and caught his stare and waved, shyly. The bell rang signaling the end of first period.
