Ch.20

Liam's pov

I walked into the house to see Zoey with Vanessa behind her holding her. After that everything just happened to fast. Vanessa pulled out a knife and held it to her throat. The next thing I knew is that Vanessa stabbed Zoey and pushed her backwards off the balcony. All I saw next was Zoey falling.

Niall's pov

I thought Vanessa was nice, but I was wrong. Me and the boys walked into the house and saw Vanessa holding Zoey. After a few mins Vanessa pulled out a knife and held it to Zoeys throat. The next thing I knew Vanessa stabbed Zoey and pushed her off the balcony. I looked up at Vanessa and she was gone. All of the guys and me ran over to Zoey lying on the ground. There was blood all around her and she wasn't breathing. I got out my phone and called 911.

"This is 911 what's your emergency?"

"My friend was just stabbed and pushed off a balcony. Please hurry she's losing a lot of blood and she's not breathing."

"Okay sir help is on the way. Please stay cal-"

I hung up the phone and went back over to Zoey. Liam was knelt down beside her crying. I've never seen him like this before. Zoey still wasn't breathing and it was really worrying me. A minute later I heard sirens and I let the medical people in. They finally got her breathing then they loaded her up in the ambulance. Liam got in with her and we were in a car behind them. We got to the hospital a few minutes later and Zoey had to be rushed to surgery. All of us waited in the waiting room for Zoey.

It's been 3 hours and were'er still waiting. I saw doctor come into the room and come over to us.

"Hi are you guys Zoeys friends or family?"

"I'm her friend and the rest are to expect Liam" I pointed over to Liam.

"Okay well Zoey is done with surgery and she's in a coma."

"What why?!"

"Her body still isn't strong enough so we had to put her in a coma. She could wake up today, tomorrow, in a week, month and sometimes in a year. It just depends how long it takes her body to recover because she hit her head really bad."

"Okay thank you for helping. When can we see her?"

"You can see her now, but two people at a time please."

Me and Liam left with the doctor and followed him to Zoeys room. We got in there and Liam sat down beside Zoey and held her hand.

"Liam I'm really sorry about Zoey."

"You should be."

I was shocked by what he said and I was confused.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"What do you mean?"

"You brought Vanessa here and you just had to invite her to the bar. If she wasn't there then none of this would've happened and my sister wouldn't be in a coma!"

"I'm sorry okay. I didn't know she was going to do that......trust me."

"Just leave Niall I want to be left alone with Zoey."

"Okay fine I'll go by-"

"Just go!"

I left the room and went back to the lobby.

"Hey what are you doing back so soon" Louis said looking at me.

"Um....Liam kicked me out."

"What? Why?"

"He blames what happened to Zoey on me. He thinks it's my fault that Zoey got hurt. I mean I didn't know Vanessa was going to do that."

"Well he's going through a hard time, but he'll eventually get over it. Don't worry about it Niall."

"Okay"

I sure hope he forgives me and I really didn't want this to happen to Zoey. I've been hiding something from everybody and I don't know what Zoey would think. I'm in love with Zoey.
