Hey everyone! Iris here, with a Contest update!

First things first, the time to enter your story has (sadly) ended, so if you're here hoping to enter, I'm so so so sorry, but I will not be able to accept! Really, it pains me so stinking much to turn away stories, so please know I'm super sorry, and I'll totally still read it if you want me to!

That being said, I will be hosting one of these every so often, so you'll totally have more opportunities to show off your work. And, anyone else who already entered wants to join again, go for it! I'm totally down!

Also, I want to say, I've been starting the judging process and reading through your guy's stories! They! Are! So! Good!

Like, every single one. Choosing winners is so hard.

I've only got a couple more excellent stories to read, and then . . . prizes! Yay!

*jazz hands*

Tygsm for all the support! This has been so much fun, and I totally wish I could give prizes to all of you!

*sends virtual hugs and chocolate*

I figured you guys would like to know some more info, including how the judging process works, so that's what this chapter will be about. If ya think you're all set, then go ahead and skip. (But really . . . . . . read it. You can always go change things in your story that you think might need to be changed and let me know, and it's possible I'll change your overall score too!)

Your stories are rated on a scale of one to ten, one being "gosh this is awful" and ten being "THEY SHOULD GET THIS PROFESSIONAL PUBLISHED!!!"

(In case your worrying, no one's story has been ranked a one. You're safe!)

The story gets my approval for different things that make up a good book! Some of these are (but may not be limited to):

1) Following the rules. I very explicitly stated the rules at the beginning. If you didn't follow them, I knocked off some kudos. Sorry, but those were there for a reason!

2) Putting warnings in the beginning. Now, not every story required this, so if yours was user friendly, you're safe! And if it wasn't and you put the tags on, your also safe!

The only people who need to worry (and possibly fix, if I haven't read your story yet) are the people who didn't put warnings. And just to be safe, here's what you need to warn your readers about, so they can avoid what they don't want to read!

Blood

Violence

Cutting

Depression

Swearing

Gore

Abuse

Bullying

(If I'm missing something, please let me know!)

3) Grammer. This is a not a huge one, because what kind of host would I be if I was like "Well, their grammer is off, guess they fail?"

I'll answer for you: a bad one! So I won't be too hard with this!

But . . . it still counts.

Misspelled words, improper sentences, misuse of punctuation, ect. While most of these won't knock of points towards your overall score, they will add them! So be careful when writing, and always proofread!

4) Obviously, the plot! Your story needs to be captivating and enjoyable to read! I don't want to have to force myself to finish them. I want to need to finish them!

Those are the overall things I look out for! Hope this helped some of you out!

While I read, I make sure to jot down notes and of what I liked/disliked! This makes the whole process easier and much more fun!

Also, if you wish to withdraw your entry, you can do that. I hate to see you go, but if you want to, you can DM me and (respectfully) request to leave the contest.

That's really all I've got for you! Hope this was fun to read (lol) and I hope you guys enjoyed this!

Winners will be posted very soon, so stay tuned! And make sure to check the table of contents regularly, as it will let you know what stories I've read and what ones I haven't!

I've chatted with almost all of you, but if you have questions about this, or juat need to vent, or just want to say hi, feel free to DM me! Love you, and have a great day/night!
