Just A Monster (KP FIC)

"AH SHIT!" Sprinklekit yelped as they fell from my arms, the sudden flashbang completely blinding the two of us. The lights shined down onto us as if they hated our eyes. The first thing I wake up to yeah? Ok.

"Why didn't you catch meh." Sprinklekit spoke up as their body was completely slumped onto the ground. I giggled at the sight of them. 

"It's not funny darnit." They angrily stood up and brushed them self off with their paws. They then opened the large gate door and stretched looking out the counter that just revealed even more lights. I decided to start standing my self, using my paws to push my self off of the ground and walking over to join Sprinkle.

"Woah. Tough crowd." I jolted, prepared to shriek when I heard them utter those words.

"W-what?" I stutter. 

"There's just a crowd of gootraxians standing in front of the entrance." They jumped over the counter and looked back at me.

"I'm gonna go see what the hype is." They said before walking towards the others. I already knew what they were looking at.. Feizao. You know a person would think to hide the body away from their friends and family before anyone had seen it but no. I was being such a fool. Despite me still being disgusted at the sight of them after they had died I joined Sprinklekit was was standing within the crowd, looking as puzzled and shaken as the rest of them had. Just as expected though, I came next to Sprinklekit to see Feizao, the life drained out of their eyes. The crowd accompanying us was Fed, Kaiju, Figs, Fashui, And Panther. I was going to guess that they had sniffed it out before it was found. They don't sleep.

"Shit, well, it might have been a human." Fed spoke up, trying to do what they could to break the silence that had forbid us. Fashui curled their lip and looked at Fed, daggers piercing their pupils into slits.

"Are you STUPID? It was obviously a gootraxian!" They yelled. Everyone lowered their ears at the squirrels sudden outburst.

"Relax Fashui. I'm the detective here." Fed said calmly despite the tone of voice Fashui had towards them.

"Well you shit at it! Those are bite marks you idiot, from a gootraxian! And not any normal one." They said with their paws on their hips as they looked up at me. Wait what the hell? Everyone looked at them and then towards me, EVERYBODY... It was making me uncomfortable. I felt like the truth would spill out of my mouth any second, my limbs became weak and my mouth became dry in panic as I quickly turned to leave. But then I felt someone's paw grab mine and pull me towards them. Sprinklekit had pulled me next to them and gripped onto my paw tightly while looking at Fashui with confusion, and yet anger.

"Woah Woah. What are you trying to say?" Sprinklekit started with a hiss, I could almost hear their blood boiling at the squirrels anonymous comment.

"I'm just suggesting maybe your little friend here did it." Fashui looked DEAD SERIOUS. They kept on shooting daggers towards me. I squeezed on to Sprinkles hand just to comfort my self, forcing my self to stand my ground and not run off.

"FASHUI! That's enough!" Fed scolded as their ears pinned to the back of their head. Things were starting to get heated. I felt like my entire body was going to plummet to the ground if I didn't get the hell out of this conversation.

"Are you crazy?!" Sprinklekit's voice suddenly piped up as they stopped onto the ground in a fit of anger.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" They continued. I felt vulnerable to any allegations they threw towards me. 

"Seriously, Fashui, I know you and Feizao had a good relationship and all but you can't just start pointing fingers like this. It's childish." Panther began. I don't even think they were listening! They were so busy flicking their attention to me and Sprinkle. I quickly began to speak up before anything went wrong.

"I didn't do anything to Feizao!" I said it in kind of a whisper like tone. Sprinklekit began brushing my arm with their paw.

"I KNOW you didn't do anything to Feizao." They gestured, a soft tone accompanying their voice. I gave them a faint smile as they looked at me with these soft eyes.

"But this psycho thinks otherwise!" They continued. Fashui curled their lip and snarled before storming out of the cafeteria. The very tip of their tail set ablaze as they left.

"DON'T FUCKING COME BACK UNTIL YOU SAY SORRY TO!" Sprinkle screamed after them. I grabbed their arm and pulled them back towards me before they started fighting with them. I sighed in relief as I held the cat close to my chest.

"I don't think there's much to discover now, I think the body's been tampered with anyway." Fed started as they placed their paws on their sides.

"What do we do with it then?" Figs asked.

"Throw it away. Kaiju, you mind throwing it into the barrier for me. I'm not getting my paws dirty." Fed rasped. They tipped their Fedora above their eyes and walked out, Figs deciding to follow the wolf soon after. Kaiju stayed behind licking their lips and lifting the body off of the ground.

"DON'T EAT IT!" Fed yelled from just the other room. Kaiju groaned and hoist it over their shoulder before walking out. Sprinklekit scoffed and crossed their arms.

"I can't believe that squirrel!" They began ranting. My eyes softened as I looked down at them leaning onto my waist.

"I can't really blame them... I'd be really upset if that was you." I said. Sprinklekit sighed and hugged me, I wrapped my arm around them and looked into the distance. Things are going to be a lot harder from now on.

"Eat..."
