Breathing in the air of the city that she had hated for years, Annalise finally had the chance of escaping that hell-hole. The city of Uriah was full of nothing but scheming men that only wanted her for her money. Annalise came from old money; her great-grandfather started the bustling metro that was Jheevral.
Jheevral was known for having some of the best quality of life in the country. Thanks to the new chief of police, Sargent Brigette Cheney, crime was at an all time low. The economy was booming, the job market was always expanding, and the dating scene wasn't a complete dumpster fire. But the architecture of the city is what really takes the cake.
Based off of Greek temples and elven mythos, Jheevral was known for having some of the most grand buildings in the world, including the Great Sunflower Temple, and the walrus-like style of the Hitcher Building. The Hitcher Building gets that monicker because of the way the building's windows look when they are looked at head on. Along with the thriving economy of marble exports and fish-based diets, the people of Jheevral have an amazing demeanor.
Always willing to help weary travelers whenever they may need it. Never asking for anything in return. Genuinely caring for anyone they may see passing by. The citizens of Jheevral are taught that you shold always be nice to outsiders, without question. They are taught this from kindergarten, as children, to make sure that this becomes an integral part of the blood of Jheevral.

Getting into Jheevral was the easy part. Getting out of Uriah would prove to be an immense challenge. The way the city is laid out; the entirety of its infrastructure was compacted into a desert valley. This lead to a major problem when expanding, which was simply, "How?" And going up was the only option.
Towered over by skyscrapers taller than anything Jheevral could offer, Uriah made its citizens feel small, and worthless. This lead to a shift in the demeanor of the people living in Uriah. It made them opportunistic, always trying the next way to become famous. And to get out of Uriah, Annalise was going to have to do just that.
