Ari was getting dressed when her boyfriend went to open the door, she can hear few voices from outside and decided to clean up alone. While she was at it, she made a mental note to again have sex in water in future. She was still confused as to who informed Tae about her working late nights, except her no one knew.
When she entered the living room, she was surprised to see the Kim's, not her office colleagues but Tae's parents.
"Papa Kim, Mama Kim." She straightway went to engulf them both in a hug, they were like her own parents who she loves and respect a lot.
"Aru honey its been so long, how've you been?" Mrs.Kim asked smiling brightly.
After a few more We missed you's they all seated, Taehyung with his father and Ari with Mom.
"Ari when are you giving me good news?" Mrs. Kim asked and Ari tried to control the pink hue on her cheeks from coming. All while Tae held a smirk recalling the moment few minutes ago.
"Mom!" Tae said to not bother them with such questions.
"What? I meant the news of promotion, I think Ari totally deserved it."
How can Tae forget her parents have a habit of teasing them a lot and by a lot I mean they even teased them about the time when they first got intimate, well that story is for another time for now lets say Tae picked up a wrong call at the wrong moment.
Ari was thinking about the words Tae spoke to her yesterday if she really deserves it when she gets stress for just the title. Tae can see through her, he knows she might be low with confidence all because of him and absolutely regrets saying that.
He moved towards held her hands and placed a kiss on her knuckles and started, "Mom, Dad. Ari got promoted to the head of marketing department of the merged company. And I think she totally deserves the post and can manage her own company one day."
Tae's parents were proud of how their relationship worked out, at first when they were in college they were not so sure themselves but looking at them now, they were content to do the right thing that is supporting them.
Christmas was getting near and the city was busy with its preparation so were the employees of Taehyung's company to organise their annual party which takes place before Christmas.
Ari was excited, she was going to wear an outfit she bought months ago just for the party, it was a surprise for Tae. At today's event she was going to enjoy the food, the drinks with her friends and of course listen to her boyfriends speech.
Ari got dressed for the party while Tae's parents went for exploring the city and will be back at night, they were staying with them till after Christmas.
The party was held at hall of one of the buildings that Tae owns. Speaking about Tae he was speechless when he saw Ari all in red, the dress was perfectly hugging her figure and she looked too hot in it, so hot that he can't remove his eyes from her but still cant kiss her in-front of others.
