Legacy of Broly

No sooner than Frieza left Earth did he begin to think on how to combat the Z Fighters. He knew how strong they were, he'd seen it all first hand in the Tournament. Once out of the system that those saiyans and his...brother were in, he sent out scouts to every corner of the universe to hunt down a new champion to combat them. After a long wait, what feels like months, his scouts return with news of a planet far off the normal system charts called Vampa. Frieza sends two scouts to go and search the planet.

However, to know the ones on the planet, one must know their past. Back before the tragedy of Planet Vegeta, King Vegeta's son was growing inside a tube, as most Saiyan babies did. Two others were growing at the same time. Kakarot, whom we know the story of, and another...one lost to history, thought to be dead, to be killed...this one's name is Broly. Broly was a very, very special baby. His power level rivaled that of the elite baby prince at 10,000. King Vegeta feared this and thought this baby, and his father Paragus, were taunting him, using some...tainted formula to become strong enough to challenge for the throne. This wasn't true, but King Vegeta sent Broly off planet to a distant, desolate planet. Paragus found a ship and managed to sneak into it, flying off planet to find his son.

Paragus found him on planet Vampa, and began to raise his son. He had to cut off his only son's tail to prevent him from turning into a Great Ape and destroying the planet. Over many, many years, Broly grew, and grew stronger and stronger. However, he always slipped under the radar of ones like Vegeta, Kakarot, and Raditz, for his power was never truly used to its fullest potential. Now, we return to the normal timeline, when a Frieza Force ship lands on Vampa. Paragus rushes out to meet it, finding two members of the Frieza force. They introduce themselves as Cheelai and Lemo. Before the three can head back to the cave Paragus was using to live, a monstrous Vampa beetle appears and goes to attack them! "BROLY!" Paragus shouts out, to which his son rushes in within moments and kills the beast, sending it flying. Cheelai's scouter reacts and instantly overloads with Broly's power, though she more than likely saw his abs and had to react to the scouter to avoid saying something else.

"Lemo, look, we found him, this guy's going to be the one!" Cheelai points out, to which Lemo uses his own scouter, and it overloads as well!
"Heheh, hey, look at that. We got our next big warrior! Say, Paragus, who is this?"
"Oh, this is my son, Broly." Broly is a massive male, wearing nothing but a large green fuzzy sash, torn up blue pants, and what looks like a punishment collar of some kind. "He's not the brightest, but he is more than capable of defending me and him on this planet."
"Well, you're in luck! We're taking you back to Lord Frieza!"
"Wh-what? You are?! Oh, thank you! Let's not waste any more time!" With no more talking, the four get back onto the ship, and fly back to Frieza's main fleet.

Moments after making it back, Broly and Paragus are brought before Lord Frieza. "My lord, thank you so very much for saving us from that planet. We are eternally grateful." Paragus bows his head deep to Frieza.

"Oh, think nothing of it...it is out of the kindness of my heart that I saved you. In fact...I need a favor, you see." Frieza explains the situation to him. "And I want those Saiyans defeated, killed, even."
"You said Prince Vegeta is among them? Then we shall do as you ask my lord."
"Good...and what of your son?"
"Broly...isn't the most mindful, but he's more than capable of fighting. I swear to you, he'll be able to handle everything."
"I hope so...I do hope so."

A few hours later, Paragus and Broly are all cleaned up and given new outfits and armor. Broly meets Cheelai and Lemo in the mess hall with others about. Cheelai tries to chat to him, but she's cut off by a rather rude male. Whether he tries to flirt with her or talk down to her doesn't matter, as he makes Broly mad. Broly, without thinking, snatches this guy up and begins to choke him, strangle him. Paragus comes in at just the right time, pulling out a controller to use he collar, forcing a powerful shock through his son. Broly screams out, dropping the other, and staggering back in fear of the remote. Broly calms with his father's help, but as the remote is put away, Cheelai's sleight of hand steals the remote away. Later on, her, Lemo, and Broly are in a more quiet hall, eating and chatting. Cheelai goes to touch the sash on Broly's waist, but he stops her, accidentally snapping, but apologizing right after. "It's...not a sash...it's Ba...my friend." Broly explains that Ba was a creature on Vampa, whom Broly befriended and hung out with a lot. Paragus did NOT like this, and used his blaster to cut one of Ba's ears off. Broly keeps it as a reminder of his friendship.
