Zenitsu POV
I broke down after that. I passed out from losing breath from screaming. I woke up the next morning from a bad dream. I jerked up in bed and ran out of my room still in my sweatshirt.
"TANJIRO!" I yelled. Gramps came out of his bedroom and grabbed me from behind. I was kicking and yelling as I tried to get away.
I broke down sobbing. I was like that for the next 3 days. Gramps did everything he could to get the police department To try and find Tanjiro.
Inosuke and Murata were always at my house next to me. "Zenitsu it's ok we'll find him." I wasn't listening. I had images of Tanjiro dead in my brain and wouldn't stop coming. "Zenitsu. I will find him. I will use all my power and I will find him." Gramps always said that. He had been for the past 2 weeks. I never leave my room anymore.
I sit there on my bed staring at my door just waiting for Tanjiro to come walking through it one day and be ok.
It was on September 2, 2022 that Gramps came running into my room.
"Zenitsu! We found where they are! We know where Tanjiro is!" He yelled at me to get up. I had no words. I couldn't move. Gramps picked me up and put me in the car. I was dumbfounded. They found him? They really found him?
Tanjiro please be ok. I snapped into reality once more and all of my emotions came up at once. The car screeched to a halt and I ran out of the car to a house that looked to be abandoned. There were police cars everywhere and an ambulance. Why weren't they going in?! We need to save him!
I pushed through the crowd of police officers to the front of the crowd. I saw pure horror.
Another short one sorry but the next one will be longer and it might be the last one. Idk.
