It was a full moon and Kaeya had just returned to Mondsadt. He was greeted by the two usual guards at the gate. "The Calvary Captian! You're finally back from your mission?" One of the guards asked. "Hm, it would seem so." Kaeya chuckled.

"He made his way into Mondsadt as the moon lit his path towards the Tavern. Luckily for him, it was still open.

He entertet the tavern only to hear some unexpected voices. It was the knights, no, more than that.

"Kaeya was my only option for Calvary captian, if I could have I would have chosen somebody else for the role." Jean said in a slightly slurred voice.

Kaeya decided that maybe it wouldn't be best to greet his peers just yet, so he stood quietly and listened.

Diluc wasn't able to make it to the tavern that day so he was still at dawn winery, that relived Kaeya a little.

"I mean, all he does is nag nag nag! How am I supposed to get any work done with Kaeya always pushing me around?" Amber stated as she slightly slammed her drink onto the table.

Kaeya frowned and left because, he didn't think he needed to hear anymore. He walked home through the empty streets of Mondsadt and made his way to the door.

"Hm..now where are those pesky keys. Ah, there they are!" Kaeya unlocked his door and made his way inside.

His house was quite full actually, but to Kaeya, it was the exact opposite. He hung his keys and walked towards the kitchen fridge. "Hm..no snacks? I guess I should do some more shopping tomorrow.." He closed the fridge and headed to bed.

The next day
"Ughh..another day." Kaeya groaned while stretching." (He goes to work because I'm tired)
"Kaeya, you're back already?" Jean asked while finishing up some paperwork at her desk.

"I managed to snag some Information from the Fatui, actually it'll be quite the valuable piece in our game of chess." Kaeya smiled slightly, leaning on the door while flipping a shiny gold coin.
