Daughter to the Uruguayan businessman Francisco Silva and Brazilian fashion designer Lucia Acosta, Gabriella experienced a privileged upbringing with her two younger brothers, João and Santiago Acosta, in Lisbon. Where she began showing interest in go karting at the age of 5 after watching her first Grand Prix with her father, amazed with the zooming cars, and was ready to compete at only 8 years old.
