Chapter 1: Catch me if you can

(Y/N) age 7, Yang age 6, Ruby age 4

(Y/N): Psst. Ruby.

Ruby: (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Shhh! Someone could hear. I brought you these.

He handed her a bag of cookies.

(Y/N): Now, remember our agreement?

Ruby: Yep. It's just our secret.

(Y/N) patted her head.

(Y/N): Atta girl.

Flashback end

Present day

(Y/N)'s POV:

(Y/N) age 13, Yang age 12, Ruby age 10

I was lying in a pool of my blood, crying. My 'family' locked me up in a cage and chained me to the wall behind me. I've been in here since i was 8. In this cursed basement. They've been beating me every day, but i still hoped that they love me. Even a little. They call me a failure, because i don't have a semblance. Well, i have one, but they don't know it. When they invite guests, they show me to them for them to beat me up too. I can't complain though. I got a lot of semblances from them. Like super strength or high intelligence but one of them made that even if i die i get ressurected. I can die only from old age. Suddenly the door slammed and Tai entered the basement.

Tai: HEY THERE, SHITBIRD! TIME FOR YOUR DAILY BEATING!

(Y/N): Hey, dad. Can you-

Tai kicked me in the face.

Tai: WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?! I'M NOT YOUR FATHER!

(Y/N): But you are.

Tai punched me in the gut, making me spit out blood. Ruby and Yang heard what was happening.

Yang: Hey, dad. Can we join?

Tai: Sure sweetie.

Ruby: This'll be fun.

(Y/N): *panting* Please...don't-

I was silenced by Yang punching me in the face, sending me flying in the back of the cage. Ruby went to me and slashed my chest making me bleed. Suddenly, Summer arrived.

Summer: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!

They turned around and looked at her.

(Y/N): M...Mom?

Summer: Without me.

I looked down. She took out her sniper and shot both of my knees. I screamed in agony.

Summer: I wish i never gave birth to you. You are nothing.

I was on the floor in a pool of blood and not moving.

Summer: (Y-Y/N)?

She came to me and tried to find my pulse but to no avail.

Summer: N-No...NO! PLEASE COME BACK, PLEASE!

Tai: Oh no, what have we done?

Yang: B-Big brother?

Ruby and Summer started crying.

Tai: Come on, tomorrow we'll bury him.

3d POV:

They left the basement. (Y/N)'s body started glowing and he lived once again. His last hope of his family loving him vanished. He's had enough. His eyes started to glow.
