-------------------------------------------------------------------

It was time for training at UA. Denki let out a sigh at the thought. While he did want to be a pro hero, he didn't think it would be this tiring. Training every other day, the copious amount of homework that's assigned. It was all so stressful. He could feel the stress of facing the rest of the day hitting him as he got dressed.

Standing in the boys' locker room, as he lifted his shirt and sat it in his locker, he heard a voice that snapped him out of his consuming thoughts. "Dude, what's up with all the scars?" Ojiro questioned.

He looked down at his chest. And he saw scars that looked similar to lightning bolts crossing over his chest. Some overlapping, some still kinda fresh.

Of course, he knew what they were talking about. He had been feeling a little on the insecure side about them lately.  His boyfriend, Shinsou, had been there. Telling him just how cool and badass he thought the scars looked, but when he looked at them himself, he couldn't help but feel a bit insecure.

After a bit of silence, everyone's eyes were on him, and a few comments about how they were freaky, cool, and he could have sworn he heard someone say sexy but was too in his own head to point out the voice.

"Yeah, dude, what is up with that?" Sero asked, curiosity lacing in his voice. Denki looked around, attempting to avoid the eyes that were on him. "Uh, they're just from my quirk". He hesitantly answers. Attempting to sound cool, but inside he was breaking in half.

Now it was Mineta's turn to raise a brow. "Dude that's kinda freaky" the boy criticized. "Yeah, it is a little weird". Sero adds. "Guys stop, he can't control them, that's not manly". Kirishima cuts in, defending Denki from the words being thrown at him.

"Can you blame me?" Mineta says in disgust, looking Denki up and down like a roach on the wall, "Scars are gross" the perverted boy finishes. "Even if you think it's gross, that doesn't make it any less rude" Midoriya pushes his way into the conversation. Denki begins to drown the boys out, putting on his hero uniform in silence and walking out. His exit could be heard from a mile away, the slam of the door doing what he intended it to do.

Shut them up.

Denki looked over at the clock on his nightstand, it read 11:00 PM in big bold red letters. He'd been lost staring at the clock, its red hue practically swallowing him, filling his mind with thoughts of the day. It hadn't gotten any better since the locker room incident. He got his ass kicked by Bakugou in training. It was terrible too. He could practically still taste the dirt in his mouth from when he hit the ground.

After that, he went into a stall in the locker to change and walked out.

Which of course got him questioned by his classmates.

He ignored their questions and changed the topic as fast as possible. After all, they're teenage boys, it wasn't that hard to distract them. And at the very end of that, he found out he had failed a test in Language Arts, which was just the icing on the cake at this point. But this cake was ten layers tall, piling up until it didn't even need the icing to fall over. Tears began to well into his eyes. As he thought about everything that had happened that day. Specifically, when he was changing in the lockers. He could still remember the conversation that he had with Kirishima and Midoriya after he left.
