It was morning, Eren and Mike were getting dressed for school. Eren was wearing a dark blue skirt with a plain black shirt and a greyish jumper. Her long brunette hair was up in a bun so it didnt get into her eyes while she was doing her work at school. Mike was wearing black leggings, black shirt and a dark blue shirt like he usually wears.
They went down the stairs to the dining table where Holly was sitting in her highchair next to our parents Karen and Ted. Nancy was sitting opposite them. Karen had made a basic breakfast with sausages, bacon, egg and beans.
Eren and Mike both sat down next to Nancy and dug into the breakfast Mom had made. It was super delicious.
"Have you guys finished your homework?" Karen asked them and Eren sighed. Karen always asked them this, every morning. Mainly Mike and Nancy as Eren always did her homework as soon as she got it.
"Uhm.. Yes..?" Mike answered her, suspiciously. He looked at Nancy
"Yes Mom, I did" Nancy said, smiling. We believed her as she always did her homework too. However Mike never did, he always completed it last minute or never did it at all.
We were eating peacefully but a call came through on the house phone. Karen got up and went to answer it. It was Joyce.
"Karen, is Will at your house? Did he spend the night there..?" She said, worriedly.
"Uhm, no. He went home around 8 or 9 last night. Why? Is he not home?" Karen said, worried too.
"No no, I'm sure he just left early for school. He does that sometimes. Bye Karen" Joyce said, hanging up.
Me and Mike looked at eachother, but only Mike was worried.
