Kai's P.O.V:
I was getting ready to go meet my friends at Starbucks when there was a knock on my door.
"Who could that be? Skylor?"
I opened the door and saw an golden envelope with red stripes on the ground. I looked around, but no one was there. I carried the envelope inside and opened it. It said:
You have been invited to our gala. Hosted by L.A. Streamers.
Location: ***************,************
Time: 6:00 p.m.
I was utterly confused. KAII ON FIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA my phone vibrated. It was Skylor. I picked up my red phone.
"Hi Sky."
"Where are you, everyone is waiting?"
"Ohhhhhhh…"
I had totally forgotten that my friends had been waiting for me at Starbucks. This whole gala thing was so confusing.
"I will be there in a jiffy."
"Better." She cut the phone call.

No P.O.V:
"Sorry I was late everyone,” Kai said.
“It’s fine, but what took you so long?” Nya asked.
“Uhh, I was getting ready!” Kai lied.
“Well I got an envelope,” Lloyd said.
“Everyone did,” Zane said to Lloyd.
“Haha take that Lloyd, good job tincan,” Cole said laughing.
Jay showed his envelope which was gold with dark blue stripes on it.
“It says..you have been invited to our gala. Hosted by L.A. Streamers. Location: ***************,************ and time: 6:00 p.m.,” Jay said.
“Same…I got the same envelope that's the real reason I was late,” Kai said.
“So you lied Kai?” P.I.X.A.L asked.
“Yes and sorry,” Kai responded looking down.
Everyone showed their envelopes. Lloyd got a golden envelope with green stripes. Zane got a golden envelope with white stripes. Cole got a golden envelope with black stripes. Nya got a golden envelope with light blue stripes. P.I.X.A.L got a golden envelope with purple stripes. Skylor got a golden envelope with orange stripes. Vania got a golden envelope with no stripes. Akita got a golden envelope with red and white stripes.
“So…are we going to the gala or not?” Akita asked.
“I want to go, I already told my butler’s to start looking in my closet for a good dress,” Vania said.
“Raise your hand if you want to go,” Lloyd said.
Everyone raised their hands and it was set they were going to the gala! On the way out of Starbucks there was construction of a very tall building. Big cylinders were getting pulled up.
“That way not this way. I SAID THIS WAY!!!!,” a construction man yelled.
The rope that was pulling the cylinders looked very weak and sturdy. It was about to BREAK!!! *Snap* the rope went and the cylinders went down one by one on top of the 10 friends!
“Look what you did Bob, now we have to pay for their medical bills!” the construction man yelled at Bob looking down at the fainted people.
