It was a school day. Today was a school day. By was I mean is. It's the starting of my new school.
I packed up my things yesterday as I know I'm gonna wake up like 15 mins before school starts. Nope..I won't change..at all. Maybe though.
I stand and take a quick bath which took only 3 mins. I quickly changed into my leather jacket and a navy blue dress beneath it. I wear my light brown boots, which was quite tall. I use a little touch of normal makeup-mascara, wing-eyed eyeliner and some compact powder. Knowing I don't love using that much makeup.
I comb my wavy hair and there was at least 8 more mins till school starts. But who needs to be accurate, right? I take my bag and get out of my room. My brother, Andrew, but preferably, call him Drew, was waiting for me outside as we were going to the same school. He was older by a year so..you can say that we're surely quite close.
I take my sandwich as I planned to eat it during break time. I say my goodbyes to my mom and hug her before I leave, my brother did the same. We then walked towards Drew's car.
"Excited?" a voice was heard.
"Umm..not really. Besides, they're all..like-" I stopped. Well actually, he stopped me.
"Don't worry, sis. They are surely nice. Besides, there are hot guys there. Well, that's what they love to be called," he winked.
I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry. Meet me at the door of the cafeteria during break time. I'll be there. You can sit with me today," he continued.
I almost screamed hooray. He was so nice. I'm lucky to have a brother like him.
We then reached to the car and he drive to school immediately.
"Don't always trust your dreams, they could be your nightmare," I said in the car. It was a quote given by our late grandfather."You still can't get it outta your mind?" Drew asked, quite serious and sounded a bit sad.
"No. I-I can't..I miss him,"
"Me too, Kayl. Me too.." he said. The rest of the "trip" was silent. I don't care. Nor do I mind.
We reached, finally. School still had not started. Great.
We were standing in front of the school doors.
"Ignore if they stare at you. Just follow me," he said, politely. I nod in agreement.
He opened the door and we entered. He was walking beside me. I walked awkwardly with him until we're at the office. People kept staring at us. No, ME! Yea..normal. While walking, I just feel like shouting 'Hey, strangers! Nice to meet you!' but decided not to. I don't think I'll ever. After getting my schedule, the bell rings. I have the same classes with my brother for every lesson except Math. It was quite fortunate.
------
We went to our Physics class with my brother, not feeling awkward at all, maybe.
-time skips-
We finished our first two classes break is after those two. It turns out I do not need to wait for him as he was in the same class as me. He walked with me where ever I go, except for the toilet.
He asked me to sit at this empty place while he took some food for us.
He then came back with two trays full of food.
"Why aren't you sitting with your friends?"
"Oh, I'm here accompanying you. And they are not here yet,"
"Ouhh..hey Drew,"
"You called me?"
"Umm..yeah. Drew, are you this nice towards everyone?"
"Umm..maybe. But you must be hella lucky to have a brother like me, right?" he winked.
I rolled my eyes and smile afterwards. He laughed while I giggled. We then continue eating. I then take out my sandwich from earlier and eat it.
