Ainsley got ready for work and sighed. She was tired but she knew that she had to go back to work.
Cal was gone. She knew she had to move on and try to be happy. She had her kids to think about.
She looked to see Evie as she walked in and smiled. "I drew a picture daddy a picture. So we can send it to the sky!" Evie said
as Ainsley took it from her and smiled. She knew how Evie was struggling with the fact that Cal was dead. And her heart broke for her little girl.
Ainsley placed a hand on her cheek. She smiled as she kissed her forehead.
She wished that there was a way Evie could talk to Cal. She wished that she could. But she was trying her best. And it wasn't easy.
"Daddy would be so proud of you baby. It will all be okay," Ainsley said as she pulled Evie into a hug and smiled.
Ainsley knew that no matter what happened, she was going to miss cal. But she had her girls. And for them she had to try.
Once she was ready for work she started to prepare breakfast. She looked to Madison and frowned. "What's wrong baby?" Ainsley asked.
"My daddy doesn't love me. He never sees me. Evie daddy in the sky. And Angel with her daddy," Madison said as Ainsley looked to her and frowned.
She felt her heart break for her. "I'll talk to daddy okay?" Ainsley said as Madison nodded.

Alexis smiled. "I'm sorry. It's the last thing you need with all that you have been through. But you need to talk to him. He owes it to her. To step up and be a dad. You didn't have her alone," Alexis said as Ainsley smiled.
She knew that she was right. And she knew despite all that was going on with her and Sam, and how toxic that it seemed to be, she knew how much she hated him and blamed him for Cal's death.
She knew that she owed it to Madison. To step up and be a parent. A parent that Sam wasn't being. And she hated how things were

Ainsley looked to see Sam. She sighed. "We need to talk," she said.
Sam looked to her and smiled. "It's about time that you forgave me."
Ainsley looked to him. She rolled her eyes. "Who said I forgave you? I hate you. I still wish you died and not Cal. Especially since your daughter thinks that you don't love her. Step up and be her father. Pick her up from school and be there for her. If you don't, I will take you for full custody. And you will never see her again," she spat.
She was fully serious. But would she really take Madison away from him?
