Episode 5: 5Note

The early evening sky was covered with pink, purple, orange and yellow light as the sunset approached Seoul, announcing the blue hour.

Most people take this a sign to go home and eat their dinner, but after telling their parents they'll come home a little later, Taehyun and Kai went out with Beomgyu, Yeonjun and Soobin.

Where?

Well, Yeonjun suggested a little fast food dinner won't hurt to use as a celebration.

So at smack 6pm, the five boys strolled into a McDonald's restaurant that was surprisingly still busy at this time of the day.

They were quite lucky to have found a seat for five in the corner of the fast food place, and one that wasn't covered with sauce and ketchup. 

"What do you guys want?" Yeonjun questioned.

"We'll take 20 chicken McNuggets and some fries," Kai spoke for him and Taehyun.

"You know what I like."

"I'll take a BigMac with fries," Soobin said.

"And drinks?"

"Coke," three voices immediately responded.

"I'll take a Sprite," Taehyun replied.

"Noted."

Yeonjun walked to the counter and ordered their relatively big menu. If anyone other than him would have ordered, chances are the lady at the register would have gotten a punch in the face because of the eyebrow raise.

While waiting for their food, Soobin faced Beomgyu as he was a little curious about something.

"For how long have you known Yeonjun?" he asked.

"Yeonjun? Since we were kids."

"That's the same for me and Tyun!" Kai exclaimed.

"Tyun?"

Taehyun lightly smacked Kai's shoulder, who yelped and rubbed the spot.

"It's a nickname," he explained.

"It's cute," Soobin replied.

"Thanks I guess?"

"How long have you been playing the piano, Kai? You sounded very professional during our mini audition," Beomgyu proceeded to ask.

"My father taught me when I was a kid. He studied music in Germany."

"Germany? No wonder you have a classical style."

"True. Classical music was pretty much born in countries such as Germany and Austria."

"Glad to know someone agrees!"

"And pop music, rap and hiphop originated in the US. Meanwhile Korea," Taehyun sighed.

"Birth of food," Soobin joked.

Kai chuckled.

"True."

"Getting along now, are we?" Yeonjun smiled, sitting down next to Beomgyu.

"Kind of."

"You guys are more interesting than I thought," Taehyun said.

Soobin and Kai nearly choked on their spit.

"Pardon?" Beomgyu questioned.

His expression was stern.

"Heyyy, calm down," Yeonjun laughed, patting his shoulder.

Taehyun let the gulp slide down before he spoke.

"Well, t-to be honest, after our first encounter, we, so Kai and me, thought you were total assholes who act like they own the place cuz you're rich."
