Chapter Thirteen
Hailey's P.O.V.
At night, my dreams strayed from their usual. They started out normal, but then I found my self at some old stairs heading down. I missed a step and when I woke up, I was shaking and I could have sworn I was falling down an endless pit. I laid awake for a few minutes thinking. That dream meant something... I just couldn't know what. My heart was beating fast. It was quite early, even for my standards. I decided to get ready for my... Outing with Draco. Could it really be a date? It might not be... He never really said it was though. I can't get my hopes up... But I can't help it. Even if this wasn't a date, I might as well look good. It was a Saturday so no need for a uniform. I decided to go for casual but cute.
I looked myself over and went with that outfit. Lily woke up and saw me. She smiled and laughed.
"Nice. But you have way better stuff in your closet for this date." She said and started to shuffle around my closet.
"I would dress way better but, I'm not exactly sure this is a date." I told her sheepishly. She rolled her eyes.
"Of course it is! What did he say exactly?" She asked me. I told her and she analyzed it.
"Yup. Deffinetly a date." She said. She began digging around my closet again and brought out one of my favorite tops.
"Maybe not! Why would you think that? And no. I wouldn't even wear that on a first date." I told her.
"Do you think I'm blind? I see the way he looks at you. Why is it when people like eachother, everyone can see it except themselves?" She asked acting frustrated.
"Uhuh. Just like you and David." I teased her and stuck my tounge out. She blushed and looked into my closet a bit more.
"Lily, I'm sticking with this outfit." I told her. She looked a bit dissapointed but nodded. I went to the Common Room. This time, all I heard was the sound of happily snoring people. Figures on a Saturday. Draco was at the Common Room, sitting there, looking absolutely dashing, waiting for me.
"Hey Draco." I said smiling a bit nervously. I was a bit jittery but I feinged well considering I wanted to scream right now.
"Hey Hailey." He said grinning back. He just seemed to calm.He sat next to me and held my hand. I was screaming inside. Maybe Lily was right. We talked randomly.
"So you ready?" He asked me. I smiled and nodded. I stood up and he took my hand as we walked out. People's heads were turning and I heard a small squeak from Lily and she waved goodbye like she was trying to get people to notice her. You gotta love her.
We walked down along with some other early birds toward the road to Hogsmede. My heart was beating fast and I couldn't help but smile. I was so nervous, I was half scared my palms were sweaty. Of course not. Another good thing about veelas, we skip the bad parts about puberty. Still, I couldn't help but blush. His beautiful blue eyes were twinkling in the morning light. His platinum bleach blonde hair practically shining. When we walked in to the Three Broomsticks. It seemed they had just opened because of the lack of customers and the fact that they were still taking chairs down from the tables.
"Two Butterbeers. Some ginger in hers." He said to the waitress. She polietly smiled and walked into the kitchen.
"How'd you know I like ginger?" I asked him smiling slightly. He laughed a bit.
"Whenever we had butterbeer, you'd always add the ginger." He smiled. There came the dreaded awkward silences. What do I say?
"So, um, how's it going with the Slytherin Team?" I asked him. What else to say?
