??? POV:
All of a sudden, the gray shallow pools of emptiness in the Mirror Realm fade to the hallway of a home. A boy around my age, with blonde fading to red hair who seemed to be crying, punched the mirror I saw through. Most of the glass fell to delicate pieces on the wooden floor. Though some still stood which I assumed showed my reflection because the boy stumbled back and asked who I was and where I was.

Now, I believe I'm getting ahead of myself. You're probably as confused as I am. So I'll explain what I can dig out front the back of my zombie-like mind.

My name is Rui Kamishiro. I was a 15 year old boy. It's been a few years. I'd say it's been a couple years but I haven't kept much track. I do believe I'm 17 now though. I died at age 15 though I don't remember much about life.

The most I remember is a cry of a girl. She didn't sound too young so I'd have to guess she was around my age. Other than that all I remember is being welcomed to the mirror realm when I died. I have some friends here and there in the realm.
It's hard to remember their names sometimes. The mirror realm causes you to forget. But, when encountered with a small reminder, it will all come flooding back. Now, let's get back to the story, shall we?

Out of instinct, I reply, "that's not very nice is it? Fufu~" he jumps back. He seems to look for me. "I'm in here, silly." I poke at the remaining reflective glass.

He slowly stands up and presses his hand against a piece of the stuck glass. I tease and put my hand on his, but unexpectedly, my hand comes out of the mirror. We both stand shocked. He grasps my hand and pulls me out.

I take a moment to look at myself. I look so, real..
Getting out of the mirror realm makes me remember. A wave of memory hits me.
I remember my friend, Toya. We met in the mirror realm. He told me about escaping the mirror and getting back his memory's.

The boy let's go of my hand and steps back. He falls in the process. He seems cautious. I mean, who wouldn't be though?.. I just stepped out of his mirror...

I slowly walk towards him and put my hand out for him to grab onto, but instead he flinches, closes his eyes and puts his hands over his head.

I put my hand down, surprised by the scare. He opens an eye, seemly surprised I'm not about to hit him.

I sit down next to him instead. He turns pale and starts to sweat. "I'm sorry I scared you. I didn't know any of this would happen. I know it's a bit awkward but, I'm Rui Kamishiro. I'm 17 years old."

He takes a breather and says, "I'm Tsukasa, Tsukasa Tenma."
I smile, "now I can explain why I came out of your mirror if you just listen." I reply.
He nods his head, motioning for me to proceed with the explanation.

I explain everything. "I live in the mirror realm. It's where you go when you die. A friend of mine, told me, if the mirror you're at breaks, you get a peek of what it looks like. And if you make human contact you can get out. But the only way to get back, is to relive your life through the fragments of the broken mirror. Though, the fragments only appear at certain times. If, all fragments are lived through and placed back in the mirror, the ghost goes back to the realm." I said.

He blinked quickly a couple of times and stared at me in silence. We had eye contact and I saw deep into his eyes. I could see right through him, literally.. As a ghost, you can read a person's feeling through the eyes. All I managed to get was pain and anger, before he realized what I was doing and looked away.

I saw a small blue glass piece on the floor beside me, I picked it up. It was glowing then fading repeatedly. He snatched it from me. "Well let's get this over with.. I don't want any strangers staying in my house for too long..." I felt my eyes shimmer. I know it isn't much but I didn't think he would let me stay with him. I smiled and nodded my head.

He examined the piece and tapped it a few times. "How does this-" We got zapped to a small house. Tsukasa was a bit alarmed and quickly shook his head around, for getting to finish his sentence from before. I held in my urge to laugh. He noticed and made a face at me.

We both felt a chill go through us. We noticed that it was because a hologram type thing of me ran past, into the house. We followed close behind.

We saw a small kitchen and inside of it was a woman, slightly shorter and more plump than hologram Rui. "Welcome home, dear!" She smiled warmly. "Hi Mom!" Hologram Rui replied. He ran up the stairs and came back down. "Oh! I went to the gas station earlier and I got you something special!" She said, scurrying to open a plastic store bag. She pulled out a small bag of Soda Candy. She tossed it to Hologram Rui and he caught it with little effort.

He tore it open and dumped the whole bag in his mouth. He seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit.
Suddenly, a small memory sparked up inside. I remembered, my favorite candy. Soda candy. I would always rather eat it than any vegetable. I also remembered, my mom. She was a nice lady. And my number one supporter.

Hologram Rui threw the bag away, thanked mom and ran upstairs to what I assume was my bedroom. Me and Tsukasa followed behind him.

We looked around. I sure had a messy room. I looked over to Tsukasa, he looked surprised about it. "You should've really learned to clean up you know?" He scoffed.

I shrugged and turned away. The hologram me grabbed what looked to be, a remote of some kind. He clicked the on button and a fairly large robot which seems to resemble a girl's eyes lit up a yellow color. Hologram me smiled. "She's ready." Than, the room surrounding us faded back to Tsukasa's hallway.

He placed the mirror fragment in the top left corner and it clicked in perfectly. He turned to face me. "So, did you remember anything or whatnot?" He asked.

"Nothing much.. Just about my mom and favorite candy" I answered. He sighed, "that's a start I guess. Now, follow me." He rushed up his fancy staircase.
