Rose then went to their room, exhausted.
"So?" Mae asked.
"Pretty tired man. But! He already knew." Rose said.
"No way!"
"Yeah. So emabrassed about that."
"Better go to sleep."
"Yeah, good night."
"Night. And have Den in your dreams." Mae chuckled.
"Oh shut up!" Rose said as she went to their bed.
"Hey." Rose said.
"Yeah?"
"Wonder why we share same bed..."
"Because you were so sweet when we bought this and decided to share our bed."
"Oh, I forgot. Okay night!" Rose said. Mae turned off the lamp. And both easily went to sleep.
-Next day-
It was early in the morning when Den came and knocked the door.
"Morning!" Den greeted as Mae opened the door. Still on her pajamas
"Come in, you're too early."
"Yeah, I know that. So we could hangout several hours." Den said as he went inside and sat on the couch.
"She's still asleep. I'll wake her up on 7, it's still 6."
"I'll just sit here."
"You could also watch some movies or whatever you like."
"Yup. Thanks!"
"Yeah sure." She said, headed to the kitchen.
"Ya done eating your breakfast?" She asked, eating cereals as her breakfast.
"Yep. I'm good. Just burgers, you know." Den said sitting on the couch watching Spongebob.
"Hmm. Aren't you too old to watch Spongebob?"
"I feel like five year old kid. Spongebob is my fave."
"Oh. You could also make yourself some breakfast here. Burgers were meant to be for lunch."
"Thanks, but I'm full. And I love burgers, who else won't?"
"Vegetarians"
"Yeah." Den said, turned back to the t.v.
Mae's watch alarmed. "Hey, better go and wake her up."
"Yeah, sure." Den said as he went up to their room.
He layed his head on the bed, slowly rubbing her shoulders and whispered to Rose's ears.
"Hey, wake up. You don't wanna hangout late at night right?"
"Sigh" Rose heard him. She turned back and said.
"You're not supposed to be in here." She covered her face with her pillow.
"Mae said so."
"You better go back to the living room, while I go to the bathroom and wash myself."
"After I see you walk to the bathroom, this way I can make sure that you'll really go inside. Just making sure."
"Fine." Rose said as she grabbed her towel and went inside.
"She's getting ready." Den said as he went down to the living room.
"Oh, good." Mae said, washing the dishes that were used last night.
Den just smiled and sat on the couch.
10 minutes later, Rose went down to the kitchen and grabbed her burger.
"You too have burgers for breakfast?" Mae exclaimed.
"Burgers are good, kid."
"Glob, after all these years of friendship, I just knew! Den also have burgers for breakfast." Mae said.
"Yup! Coincidence." Rose said as she took a bite of her burger
Few minutes later, Rose sat on the couch and asked.
"Where should we hangout?" She asked Den
"Anywhere in L.A." Den replied knowing he can driver her anywhere in the city.
"Sounds good to me."
"Yeah, we should start walking?"
"Sure."
"Well I also brought my car. In case you're too tired to walk. Parked it in the park."
"Thanks anyways."
"No problem. Mae, I think we should go now?" Den asked as Rose took her bag.
"Yep, have a safe date! I mean, trip!" Mae jokingly said as they walked to the porch and bid goodbye. 'They grow up so fast.' Mae thought.
Den laughed and said. "You're lucky to have that kind of friend."
"Yeah, but when she gets mad, she will be like an anry mother telling how important life is."
"Yeah. Anyways, let's have a new topic?"
"Sure, about what?"
"Random, I guess."
"Hey! Let's play some music!"
"Yeah sure." Den said, Rose then took her phone and played 'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, again.
"I love this song." Rose said.
"Yeah, it's good. We played this song yesterday." Den said as they sang with the song.
"I'm too hot!" Rose sang.
"Hot damn!" Den continued.
Both laughed and continued walking while playing several songs.
They arrived to their destination. The park.
'Diverting my attention to someone I really love is heaven!' Den thought.
