Senna's eyebrows quirked up as she saw her daughter pacing back in forth, with her lady in waiting, Gōng Asami Sato doing a simple curtsy before getting up. "Your Majesty." Her raven hair was styled in a Duo Ma Ji with a red flower. Her hanfu was pink with light red designs of flowers and birds. While Korra's hair was looser and freer, preferring an up bun and bottom flowing do.
"Korra, what are you thinking about?" Senna's hand went on her daughter's shoulder. "Replying to your Majesty, Princess Korra is looking for a Lord named Bó Ju-Long Aí," Asami said so gracefully, waving her fan slowly.
"Yes, and he is visiting a cousin." Korra crossed her arms, "He’s in the area to visit a cousin, but I don’t know who the cousin is. Mother, have you heard of him from someone in your routine?”
"Korra, I deal with so many courtiers, I have no possible way of knowing every noble house. Why are you looking for this one, in particular?" Asami was about to say something but Korra, with a glance, shut her down. "Never mind. Anyway, Master Iroh Mako will be visiting us. He is the best Artist in the world."
Tonraq sighed. Just finishing court duties, the three women bowed slightly. "Korra, I decided to make a compromise with you."
Korra glanced up, "Yes, Han Ataata?"
"I know you are unhappy with the arranged marriage. That's why if love is what you seek, then you must find it quickly. At a ball I will arrange, you will stand before the people and announce your engagement to the person of your choice at midnight, or I will announce it for you. Are we agreed?" Tonraq's tone darkened a bit at the end. It wasn't like her father to be so dark. Nonetheless, it was better than marrying some prince. Korra and Asami bowed, but Korra ran up and hugged her father, "Thank you, Father!"
Tonraq smiled and hugged his daughter back, "Make a good choice, sweetie pie."
The two women went on a stroll in the garden, lotus and other flowers blooming in the early spring. "So, you like this new Bó?" Asami said with a smirk on her face. "I heard all about him. He shut you up."
Korra rolled her eyes, "Yes, he did, but he's so interesting. It's like I never met a nobleman like him."
"You like him. It's written all over you."
"Of course, Asami! But I don't know where he is?"
"I can find him easily for you."

Zaheer read the letter. He became giddy like the stars were aligning for him. He learned that the world was unfair. Being a man of low nobility, he wanted to burn it all down at first…
Now, he wants his son to be on top of the system. To be a prince consort, a Fùmǎ, for P'li, for his family, for his security, He couldn't care less about Wan and Kaiyo, little ingrates. Ming-Hua leaned in, "The engagement to the prince is canceled. They are saying whoever catches the princess' eye will be married."
"That doesn't give us much time," Zaheer said.
"No, it doesn't." Ming Hua said. Zaheer dug in his pockets, giving Ming-Hua coins in her pocket, "I need to know everything. What does the princess like? Anything you can think of about her, give it."
