They wrapped up early; Johnny seems to be in a very good mood to treat every one for a drink. There's a karaoke bar near the location of their shooting and since everybody did a great job, Johnny thinks that everyone deserves a drink.
"And there's no exemption, everybody and I mean everybody needs to go. No rich and famous, no crews and superstars, we have the same level tonight, no boss, just a bunch of people who will paint the karaoke nearby red."
Everybody cheers, when they entered the karaoke bar the manager were surprised. There's hundred cast and crews. The bar was full house. Each and everyone occupied the chairs, others remain standing.
The big people, including Johnny, Kyle, Ana, Josh, and Ely with his friends Tony and Liz occupied the table near the stage. Each and everyone are having a good time, goofing and singing while cold beers are served.
Then out of nowhere Tony stands up and introduced Ely to the crowd. Everybody clapped their hands.
"Come on beautiful, sing your theme song."
Ely was surprised.
"What theme song?"
Liza guide Ely to the small stage designed for those who wanted to sing. Tony gave her the microphone and enters a number. The song "I will survive" appeared on the screen.
'Oh no' Ely said to herself then a six seconds intro. Ely had no choice but to sing.
At first I was afraid
I was petrified
Everybody claps other shouts "whooo"...
Kept thinking I could never live
Without you by my side.
But then I spent so many nights
Thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned how to get along
Then a bit faster beat starts, Ely starts to slightly move her hips and shoulders. The cheering crowd creates some confidence on her.
And so your back
From outer space
I just walked in to find you here
With that sad look upon your face
I should have changed that stupid lock
I should have made you leave your key
If I had known for just one second
You'd be back to bother me
More shouts, Tony and Liza stands up and shouts "Go Ely, Go Ely" while they dance to the rhythm. Ely started to move her feet and vigorously sway to the music while she sings.
Go on now go walk out the door
Just turn around no
'cause you're not welcome anymore
Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
Did you think I'd crumble
Did you think I'd lay down and die.
Johnny and Kyle stands and dance with the crowd, everyone clap their hands to the beat of the song. Ana also stands up and joined. Ely felt she's inclined to perform better.
Oh no, not I
I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to live
I've got all my love to give
And I'll survive
I will survive..hey...hey...
Ely memorized the song pretty well; she doesn't need a monitor for the lyrics. This is her song, it was written for her. On the fifteen seconds instrumental Ely dance like she's teasing Josh, she searched Josh eyes and look at him firmly as she sang the next verse.,
It took all the strength I had
Not to fall apart
Kept trying hard to mend
The pieces of my broken heart
Ely moves her body gracefully, glaring at Josh, evidence she did survived.
And I spent oh so many nights
Just feeling sorry for my self
I used to cry
But now I hold my head up high.
Ely walks back and forth on the stage, dancing, she was energized. Her adrenalin is overflowing.
And you see me
Somebody new
I'm not that chained up little person
Still in love with you
Ely occupied the center of the stage she points to Josh.
And so you felt like dropping in
And just expect me to be free
And now I'm saving all my loving
For someone who's loving me
'This is beyond fun huh!' Ely thought. The cast and crew dance with the same step. Tony, Ana, Liza and Johnny joined Ely on the stage. Kyle and Josh remained on the table. Josh stands up and gently moves his body for it is noticeable if he didn't go with the crowd.
Go on now go walk out the door
Just turn around now
'cause you're not welcome anymore
Weren't you the one who tried to break me with goodbye
Did you think I'd crumble
Did you think I'd lay down and cry.
Oh no not I
I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to give
I've got all my love to give
And I'll survive
I will survive
Seven minute of her theme song. Ely exerts all her effort to pour her emotion, her feelings towards Josh.
While the cast and the crew enjoy the moment they had no idea of what is going on. They didn't noticed Josh gazing at Ely and in his thoughts, every lyrics of the song, every move Ely does, every glared from her eyes, those are like an arrow that penetrates his heart.
But he knew...Ely maybe singing while she's laughing with her friends on the stage, dancing gracefully, but every time their eyes met he knows Ely is in pain and she didn't survive him at all.
Josh knew that fact and he will do everything to win Ely back.
