The Betrayal

How could you?.... Hawks..

Scarlett rode on top of gigantomiacia's back with the others, leaving the battlefield and going to a bigger one, where tomorrow was fighting the pros. She looked out at the city, her eyes wide as she stared, everything feeling like it was moving in slow motion. She couldn't believe the person she loved betrayed them, not only that but killed twice who she was good friends with but not like twice and Toga. Her red hair flowed in the rough wind along with her dress as she clenched a golden Key tightly in her hand. Toga had isolated herself a bit, hugging her knees as she cried about her best friend dying by a hero who she somehow trusted.

A few hours before the heroes attacked, Hawks and Scarlett were walking down the hallway, talking and giggling with each other. She had fallen deep in love with this bird brain, the worst thing she could have done... It was obvious she loved him and it seemed he forgot what his mission was or he was just using her to get closer to the league by using her love to do so but he fell in love with her as well. The two would be flirting with each other each chance they got and dabi even caught them kissing a few times, so did the others whenever they were together.

Scarlett was called by twice to help out with something and that was all the time Hawks needed to give Heros a signal to start their attack. Scarlett gave Hawks a little kiss on the cheek, leaving a red lip gloss stain on his cheek before leaving to help out twice. Hawks gave her a face smile but he was a great actor so he made it look real. One person that was keeping an eye out on him though was hekate and her three headed canine who suspended that Hawks wasn't being completely honest or loyal. The canine had been following the bird where ever he went in secret listrnjgn to some of his calls but mostly the ends of them. Hekate glanced at Hawks as his smile quickly went to a neutral almost emotionless expression.

"I know your up to something Hawks... And I'll make sure to make you suffer when that time comes. " hekate spoke, glaring at the suspicious bird. Her canine growled with all three of his heads. Hekate left to go find her lover, knowing the plans he had, she wanted to be prepared to make lotion to sooth his burns a bit. She knew she couldn't stop Dani but was gonna be there to help him ruin Endeavor and the hero society, wanting to watch the world burn in blue by her lover.

Scarlett helped twice with what he needed and then left to go find her lover. But once she left Hawks snuck up to capture twice, cutting his mask and the force of his feather made twice fall back. Twice was confused on what was happening since everything happened so fast. He was just about to walk out when he felt something knock him back and now he was on the ground surrounded by... Feathers?! Red ones at that which could only be one person.... But why?.. Why was Hawks attacking him? Was he mad?... What did he do wrong?... He looked at Hawks, seeing an expressionless look on his face, his piecing golden eyes looking at twice as if they weren't friends but enemies...

While this happened the other hero's broke in through the front of the place, causing the whole place to shake and jump. Scarlet lost her balance, leaning against the wall as she looked around. "The hell is happening?! " she ran to the front, seeing the heros charging in and her first mind was to go check on her lover. She looked around, not knowing where Hawks went since it seemed he just disappeared.

Dabi figured that Hawks was a traitor so he was already in the room, defending twice against Hawks and trying to get him out of the room When Scarlett ran over, almost getting caught in the sea of blue flames. She gasped as she observed the scene in front of her. Hawks trying to kill twice but also getting beaten by Dabi. The yandere in her immediately went to defend her lover, tackling him to the ground as she looked at Keigo with tears in his eyes. "W-what are you doing.... Why are you... " she punched him in the face. "Why are you attacking twice?! We're you just playing me?!? Playing us!? " she punched him more in the face, tears rolling down her face as she knocked a tooth out. Hawks didn't fight back against her, looking at her as his eye watered a bit. "I'm sorry Scarlett... " he said before a small feather stabbed her but not in a vital area just to quickly knock her out. She gasped, looking down at where she was stabbed, her eyes tearing up as she passed out, falling on top of Hawks who quickly got her off him so he could complete his mission which was to kill twice, who was trying to make his way back to his friends before getting stabbed in the back by Hawks who was also getting burned by Dabi.

Dabi released his anger by burning Hawks wings and burning him more with his flames until his student came to save him. He was about to roast the two birds before a large glacier came down, making him jump back and allowed the two birds to escape. Dabi growled, irritated by what just happened until he saw hekate. He called out to her. "Hekate! Get Scarlett and help her, she was stabbed by that traitorous bird!" He said, jumping off the glacier to the level hekate was on. The woman with an ungodly amount of hair looked at her lover. "Wait so Hawks lied?... Tsk, I knew it! " she was upset with herself. Dabi looked at hekate and hugged her. "He also got twice... " he mumbled which made hekate gasp in shock and her eyes watered a bit. "Where is he?! " dabi brought hekate to twice body which fueled her hatred for heroes and Hawks. "I'm gonna kill that dumb bird. " she ran to help Scarlett quickly while dabi kept a look out for any heroes. He didn't know that a clone of twice managed to get to Toga and compress, telling them of what happened and how he died before melting in his best friends arms.
