This is an alternate universe where the Alphabet Lore cast is set in a daycare story, with letters A-Y being the children and Z being the sole caregiver. (Don't worry, he can manage.)
The tragic events involving F in the canon story didn't happen in this AU, yet the bullying backstory still occurred- just with a different outcome.
The letters are anthropomorphized. Not humans, just vaguely humanoid.
They still speak their alphabet language thing, but for the sake of the readers, most of their dialogues will be translated into English.
