Just a little side note, I chose this song for this chapter because a) this is where certain thoughts and desires develop, and it starts with a lil feelin' in your body, and b) Austin Butler said in an interview two months back that this was his current favourite Elvis tune.

So yeah, prepare for a little bit of fluff and enjoy~

I Got a Feelin' in My Body

You were housed in a beautiful, modern apartment that overlooked the coast of Queensland, Australia. Life doesn't get much better than this, you thought to yourself. You were laying across the couch, swirling your cooling cup of coffee in your hand as took in the view outside, watching the tide wane in and out on the Sandy beach below. The sky was grey and bleak, sea mist blurring into a fog. Today was the start of filming. You didn't have any acting scenes today, per say, but you still had to go in and familiarise yourself with the cast, the set and get some fittings sorted.

It was a little past 6AM when you finally dragged yourself from the sofa, quickly washing up your cup in the attached kitchen. You headed through to your en-suite bathroom, grabbing a quick shower and lathering yourself in your essential lotions and moisturiser, scrubbing your teeth and fixing your hair. You merely gave it brush, knowing you would have your hair tucked under a wig cap anyway.

Although you wanted to try and keep makeup free before heading to set and having it taken off anyway, you couldn't help but blend some concealer under your eyes, paranoid about the possible dark circles that were hiding underneath. A mix of excitement and nerves had prevented you from getting a good nights sleep, but you convinced yourself that there was nothing a bit of concealer and plenty of caffeine couldn't fix.

You threw on a simple, yet classy outfit. You knew you didn't have to dress up, but being your first time on set, it only felt right to look good. As shooting usually went though, it was suspected that you would be rocking up to set in trackies or loungewear in weeks to come, knowing there would be plenty of late nights and early starts coming. Securing on your everyday pieces of jewellery, you gave yourself one last look in the mirror, flicking your hair back over your shoulders.

Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes and attempted to push aside your anxiety. You got this, you told yourself, looking into the mirror and flashing yourself a smile.

Heading out of the apartment, you grabbed your purse, checking you had your key and the other little things you might come to need throughout the day. Giving one last scan of the room, you left the apartment to face the day. It took about 20 minutes to get to set, your manager giving you a lift. It gave you the opportunity to take in the scenery, headphones in as you looked at all the modern buildings. The sky was beginning to brighten as the sun rose, the tips of the buildings gradually glowing as the sun breached the horizon. The roads starting to busy, streetlights dimming as the sun took its place in the sky.

You reached the building, stashing your AirPods in your purse, stepping out as your manager pulled over. She would meet you back inside once she had parked, leaving you to brave it on your own for a minute. So you went ahead, greeting a few of the behind the scenes workers as you went, some faces familiar and others either obscured by hats and masks, or just people you hadn't met yet. But you continued, eventually arriving on the set of Elvis' 68 Comeback Special.

The crew were still setting up the stage, running around and checking wires and such, but you were excited to see it all coming together. Offside of the stage were a cluster of people. Baz and Austin were among them, along with Dacre Montgomery, Tom Hanks and a few other cast members with whom you weren't familiar. Dacre who hadn't been engaged in any conversation spotted you first, meeting you at the door.
