The New Ninja

Ch.6 Lloyd Garmadon

I stared at Liv for what felt like hours.

"Sam, say something," she pleaded. I turned around and stormed out of the room. I walked right up to Jay."Hey, Sam what are yo-?" I socked him right in the nose. From there it was all chaos. Cole and Hannah had to hold me back while Liv and Molly helped Jay up. "How could you!? How could you get my little sister pregnant!?" I screamed at him. Jay's eyes widened. "Wha?" He asked looking at Liv for confirmation. She gave him a curt nod. Jay's eyes rolled to the back of his head.

"Jay? Jay!" Liv yelled while shaking his body. "Don't worry, I believe he has only fainted," Zane told her while laying a comforting hand on her shoulder. I ripped my arms out of Cole's and Hannah's. I glared at all of them and stormed out again.

I quickly gulped down my shot.

"I don't see how Jay of all people in the world would land my sister pregnant!!" I told Cole as he sat there in surprise. He had followed me here to 'make sure I didn't do something stupid'. Well sorry to break it to you, Cole, but that's already been taken care of. "Her life is over. I had such high hopes for her, and now... now they're all gone." He stayed quiet as I gulped down the second shot. I odered two more. "You can't do this every time something bad happens, Sam. You can't just drink your worries away," he told me with a worried face. "What do you expect me to do? Just sit there and do nothing while she makes all the wrong choices and screws up her life?" I asked as I downed another shot. "No, I expect you to do everything in your power to help her though her mistakes and hopefully prevent more from happening," Cole replied. "I already tried that, remember? I was 'too overprotective'," I snapped back. Cole sighed. "Well, maybe her life's just going on a different path than what you pictured? You know? I mean this could be a good thing. And you never know what could happen in the future. We just have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst," Cole advised. I looked down for a while before looking back up at him. "You know, you're starting to sound a lot like Sensei Wu," I replied. "Is that a good thing?" Cole asked. "I guess so," I told him as I stood up and offered him my hand. "Come on. I need to get out of here," I stated as he took my hand and led me back to the Bounty.

I smiled when we reached the door to the girls and my room. "Thanks again Cole. You always seem to know what to say," I said as I hugged him tightly. I kissed his cheek as I pulled away and slipped into the room.

THE NEXT DAY

"Sam!" I heard Liv yell in my face.

I knew what was going to happen next so I quickly woke up. I groaned as I sat up. "Wha?" I asked still half asleep. "Come on, we've got a mission!" She says excitedly. I quickly changed into my Gi and met up with everyone on the deck. Everyone was down there except Liv, Cole, and Sensei. Cole came stumbling out of the boys' room. "Have an eventful night?" Jay asked with a snicker. Everyone else laughed except Zane, Cole and I.

You could see Cole's blush from behind his Gi. "I don't know what your laughing about Jay, your obviously not innocent either." I snapped. That shut him up, the others.. not so much. Sensei walked in. "Silence!" He yelled, "There will be none of that here." Everyone shut their mouths. "I agree, what happened to Olivia was... unfortunate. Nevertheless, I have gotten a mission for you ninja. There have been sightings of Garmadon in one of the close villages and I fear trouble is close by." We looked at him shocked. "You mean the Garmadon as in like your evil brother, and the same one who took over the Underworld!?" Jay asked, his voice cracking at the end. "Duh, who else would it be?" I grumbled quietly. "They are one and the same," Sensei told us with a worried look.

"We must hurry. I fear the time for the Ninja is upon us." After that statement, Liv came out. "Okay, let's go," she stated. "Woah! Slow down. I'm not letting my pregnant sister out on a mission," I said while holding her in place. She groaned. "But Sam-!" "No buts. Your not going and that's final," I told her sternly. Jay turned around and held her. "Jay tell her to let me go!" She whined. "Sorry, Liv. But it's only safe for the baby," he agreed with me. She groaned again. "Fine be that way," she said as she stormed off to the room. "Liv! Wait!" Jay called. I grabbed his shoulder. "She'll be fine. Let's go," I told him reassuringly.

When we got there, the town was in panic.

People were running around everywhere, in all different directions. I got bumped in the shoulder twice. When a chick bumped into me for a third time, I lost it. "Hey! Watch where your going!" I yell at her. She turns around and gives me the bird. I start to charge her but Cole holds me back. "It's not worth it." I take my arm back and huff.

"Guys! Over there!" Kalyn yells as she points to a shadow. We start to walk over there but stop as soon as we see a little blonde haired boy pushing a wheelbarrow full of candy. He does a weak evil laugh. I rolled my eyes and we all jogged over there. "I am Lloyd Garmadon! Fear me! Give me your candy!"

After our conflict, Lloyd ended up hanging on a pole by his hoodie. The guys stood there laughing at him while eating his candy in front of him. "Come on guys. It's getting late," I told them as I started walking away, the guys following.

I looked at the little boy sadly.

I stood on a barrel and helped him down. "Uh thanks. I-I mean- bow down to me ninja!" He yelled. I rolled my eyes. "Here, just don't do it again," I said while giving him a green apple sucker. He smiled largely before popping it in his mouth. "Mmm!" He mumbled. " Goodbye Lloyd." I told him before catching up with the others.

I am SO sorry!

This chapter is SO late! I've just been really busy lately because I'm moving and we have to pack & clean some days and the other days we have to paint at the new house and it's just so tiring! But now that it's summer hopefully I'll be writing more!
