𝒜 𝒫𝓊𝓅𝓅𝑒𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝐸𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓉𝓎

- 𝒫𝓇𝑜𝓁𝑜𝑔𝓊𝑒 -

The world was changing with every second, minute, hour and day that passed by. After everything that has happened to me, everything that I had done. I still somehow feel so hollow and empty, just like my hollow immortal shell, was I forever doomed to walk on this path all my own and alone?

I raised my hand above my head trying to keep the suns glare away from my eyesight, though it didn't stop my ever-growing drowsiness and headache from worsening, and my once undamaged hat didn't seem to help ether, how can I feel so drained? I'm not even human and yet... Just then my whole body collapsed and crumble, and I plummeted straight towards the earth below my feet.

My sight was beginning to fade out, but I could have sworn I saw somebody's feet before I passed out.
(Mikage) ??? - "You poor thing, let me help you"

Warm yet comfortable? wait this wasn't how dirt floors are supposed to feel like?! I shot straight up and looked around my surroundings, and it wasn't the dirt road... I was in someone's home?!  I looked around the room, only to see the futon I was sleeping on, a jug of water and a glass on a red velvet tray. Oh! And two floating children...wait...

???  - "TWO FLOATING CHILDREN!?"

The two floating spirit children began to freak out as I stood straight back up onto my own two feet with a pillow in hand as my only weapon, as I didn't have my vision nor an actual weapon with me on hand, I was powerless and that's something I'm not very fond of.

(Kotetsu & Onikiri)??? & ??? - " She can see us!?"

I let out my own battle cry as I charged straight towards them with a pillow in hand, I continued to swing the pillow left and right while screaming out "begone!" And some other stuff, but it was soon interrupted by a man who looked around twenty or older came into the room. He had a blond hair that reached just above his shoulders, brown eyes with large, rounded glasses that where peacefully rested on his nose. He adorned a teal kimono and held most of the remaining belongs I had, such as my vision and what was left of my torn up hat, which wasn't much...So long hat, it was fun while it lasted.

(Mikage) ???- "I see that your now aquatinted to the spirits of this shrine, Kotetsu and Onikiri"

I glared at the man while hitting the male spirit on the head with the pillow that was still clutched in my hands, so I'm in a shrine, well this is just great.

(Mikage) ??? - "From what I can gather, you're not exactly human are you? Nor are you a yokai"

??? - "Gee, how did you figure that one out"

Thats when the two spirits retreated to behind the young man, their forms shaking in terror mainly because of the wrath I had laid upon the two of them. I mean, who wouldn't be freaking out over floating children when you wake up... Included that Paimon, that child thing still freaks me out.

Kotetsu - "The reason why lord Mikage believes you are not human"
Onikiri - "Is because normally human's aren't able to see us, without the aid of magical items"

The shrine spirit known as Onikiri then gestured to both herself and who I assume is Kotetsu, I turned my attention towards to blonde- er Mikage.

??? - "And the Yokai part?"

Mikage - "Well that part was easy for me to figure out since the power within you is not the one of a Yokai, no. It's the powers of either a god or a celestial being"

The room then fell into complete silence as my whole body then became stiff with fear, just who exactly is this guy?!
Mikage - "But I won't pry into your personal life, anyways since you pretty much know our name, then will you kindly tell us about yours's?"

??? - "Scara-"
I then sailed my mouth shut, I didn't want to be remember by that name, after everything that I have done to the people of Teyvat with that name resting upon my shoulders, is already unbearable for me.

??? - "I... don't have one"
This took the three beings by surprise, Mikage rested his head on the palm of his hand.

Mikage - "You don't have a name? Then... What would like to call yourself little wander?"

??? - "Make a name myself? I never really considered or really thought about it before, usually somebody would give me a name, not the other way around"

Mikage looked surprised again, but before he could voice out his own response, the two spirits intervened.

Kotestu - "Then you shall be Rem-"
Onikiri- "No kotestu, it should be Yugi"
Kotestu- "No, Rem!"
Onikiti- "Yugi!"

(Sorry if some of you wanted to either name yourselves either of these names, just change the names above to your liking if that's the case)
The two then glare at each other before continuing to shout the two names that I was now starting to dislike, it felt like it was never going to end, until.

Mikage - "How about (Your name)?"

The air began to clear now and the two shrine spirits slowly to calm down, I don't know why, but that name, it felt right to me. A smile then grew across my face in that moment.

(Your Name) -"(Your Name)...I like it"

Mikage just smiled while the shrine spirits looked defeated by my answer, Kotestu looked more depressed then Onikiri did.

Mikage - "Well (Your Name), welcome to the Mikage shrine, and if you want, it can be your home. If you want"

I stud there stunned, first he gives me a name, now a home. Tears began to weld within my eyes, Mikage look stunned by my reaction as well, I quickly waved my hand around in a way of saying that I was alright, and it looks like he got the memo.

(Your Name) - "I'd... I'd like that very much"

Mikage smile once again before extending his hand out for me, I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes as I reached my hand out as well

Mikage - "follow me (Your Name), I believe a tour around your new home is needed"
