comfort fuck
A dark room, a warm bed, an open window
The light breeze carried the lover's small sounds of breathing through the room. Almond's calloused hands held Sonic as he slept in this quiet night. His hands offered a sense of safety, like this was the only secure place there was left in the world. Sonic's blue spikes, unkempt yet lovely, lied on the same ruffled pillow his hot tears fell on.
As if struck by lightning, Sonic jolted upwards, gasping for air like a drowning man. In a way, he was drowning; screaming for air in what felt like an ocean of self hatred and inferiority. The sudden movement shocked Almond awake, causing him to withdraw his hands and take away Sonic's safe place.
"Sonic? What's the matter, honey?"
Sonic opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Tears gushed down his cheeks faster than the flow of a river. Almond sat upright and wiped his lover's tears. he'd noticed a change in his demeanor lately. Sonic seemed more to himself, withdrawn from their family. He seemed to move like he had a dark spirit looming around him. Cupping his face, Almond broke the gentle silence.
"I'm here, Sonic, It's okay."
Almond's words came out in a soothing whisper and he planted a kiss on his husband's forehead. With this kiss, the tears seemed to stop as suddenly as they came. His breathing leveled out and his lips dared to move.
"Almond, I'm so sorry.. I just had this terrible dream that I.. I'm a monster, Almond. I'm so terrible. I can't do anything right. I feel like I'm broken. I just.. I.."
Sonic took a deep breath before he continued.
"I just want all this pain to stop. How do I make it stop..? I'm sorry, Almond.."
The cool breeze carried Sonic's words across the room, seemingly reflecting his sorrow throughout the bedroom. Almond was taken aback by Sonic's sudden confession; the weight of his words hitting him like a freight train. He took a deep breath and hugged him. If he was being honest, Sonic's words reminded him of himself after the arrest of Ed. But he had worked through those feelings, and he knew Sonic could too. Almond placed another soft kiss on his husbands forehead before pulling back to speak.
"Sonic, you're not a monster, my love, you are the light of my life. I understand how you feel, honey, but I promise you that it is temporary. You don't have to feel this way forever. You are not broken. I will do my best to help you, and I promise you that I will be with you every step of the way. "
With these words, the lovers locked eyes. Almond placed one hand on Sonic's shoulder and the other on his cheek. Neither knew if they had stayed this way for minutes or for hours, but neither wanted it to end. Once again, it was silent. The room was still. To move at all would be giving in to the unbelievable temptation of the other's lips. It was like being in a room with a snake; If you did move, the snake would strike, and if you didn't move it'd still bite. Neither of them minded this predicament. Their desire for each other was drawing them in closer by the second.
Sonic kissed Almond, admiring his lightly salted flavor. Almond kissed him back with just as much passion. Even when adjusting their positions, their lips refused to part as if they were glued together. As Sonic shifted over top of Almonds body, he could feel his excitement growing. Woefully, their lips parted, a string of saliva connecting their bodies. Sonic raised his head slightly to speak.
"I love you so much more than you could ever imagine."
His eyes glistened, and Almond swore they were brighter than a full moon. This was the one place he would never want to leave.
