1. A fluttering life.

Flutershy's pov:

I woke up yawning, I guess I got... Eh good sleep.
|I should be grateful I atleast had sleep, but another nightmare..| I zoned out then snapped back.
I got out of bed quickly to feed the animals.
"Goodmorning dear fluttershy!"
"Good morning discord."
I smiled as I walked out of my room.
"You must be hungry, I made some Tea and?..."
"Hehe, sandwiches?"
"OHHHH and she got it right!"
I giggled as I grabbed my sandwich.
I chomped and chomped but not aggressively.

(A/N: I imagine fluttershy nibbling little bites 😭)

I sipped some tea, we talked a lot on mornings.
It made me happy and forget my nightmares.
Though if someone else mentioned it I would have to walk away.
I giggled at his funny jokes.
I would always feel something in my tummy when I heard his voice, I would assume it meant I was hungry, but it felt better than being hungry.
I'd often ask my friends or angel what it was when discord was gone, they said it was... Love?..
It always made me blush just thinking of it.

I shook my head and got back to the conversation.
"Oh your jokes are hilarious, discord Hehe!"

No one's pov:

The draconequus Smiled proudly.
"Why, thank you After all I am the best at jokes!"
They laughed together, then silence fell in the room.
It was starting to get a bit awkward.

Discord's pov:
 

I noticed she finished her sandwich and tea.
"I got to get going now, Oh! And can you feed the animals for me I am in a hurry."
I was confused on why she was in a hurry.
"Uh ok, have a lovely day Fluttershy."
She waved her hoof bye and walked away.
Her little rabbit angel, was staring at me.
It stepped on one of my legs.
"OUCH! HOW COME YOUR NAMED ANGEL WHEN YOUR A LITERAL TINY DEMON."
I was furious but I knew I couldn't hurt angel.
I snapped food and began giving the animals food.
It made me bored so I made it into a game.
I made a Bat appear and rolled the food into a ball.
"ALRIGHTY THE DISCORD IS NOW GONNA HIT THAT BALL AND DO A HOME RUN! But will he hit it? Let's find out today folks!"
I hit each of the food to each animals.
"OHHH HE SCORES! HOME RUN! HOME RUN!"

Fluttershy's pov:

I galloped to my friends in a hurry.
"I-im sorry I'm late everyone, I got distracted."
"Its fine Fluttershy! Stop apologizing everytime!"
"Sorry rainbow."
"AAAAAAAGGHHHH!"
"Rainbow, quit it! Its about to start!"
Apple jack kicked rainbow dash.
"Ow, Why so hard!"
"Maybe if you dont shut up I'll do it harder!"
"Guys quiet."
Twilight whispered as Celestia walked onto the stage.
"Hello equestria, Your all probably wondering why your brought here today."
"Whats going on twilight?"
I quietly asked her.
"Celestia called everyone here, she has something to say."
"Well, we are holding a contest for the best couple! Even if you 2 are just 'Friends' we will find out if you really are. I know this isn't usually something I'd do but, ponies are asking me to do it so."
Then princess Luna stepped up onto the stage.
"Also we have a list on the people that are invited that us princesses agree on."
She said lots of random names till she started to say my friends names.
"Applejack and Rainbow dash, twilight sparkle and flash centry, Rarity and Spike... [why spike with her oh my equestria...] Ahem, anyways and the most favorited one, Fluttershy and discord!"
I froze, what was I gonna do?! I was okay with my friends doing it but me?!
I felt warm inside, I knew if discord was called by his name he'd come, well only if it was me calling which I didn't understand.
"Why am I with H-her?!"
I smirked as I saw applejack flustered.
Same with rainbow dash.
"Why are you smirking?!"
"Oh nothing just my ship sailing heh.."
I slowly walked away slowly frowning.
"And everyone on the list has to be there, unless your sick or anything else let us know."

An idea popped Into my mind.
I could fake being sick? No... I am not the type to lie to the princesses...
What am I gonna do?!
I opened the door walking in seeing discord have the widest smile across his face.
"What are you so happy about discord?"
I asked him giggling.
"I Made cupcakes! I also heard we are invited to something! Now I wasnt eavesdropping, BUT IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS INVITATION!So what are we invited to?"
I laughed nervously. |What should I tell him?Maybe cover his ears if they say anything about couple, though he would get suspicious. I might have to lie... I hope this doesn't go bad...|
"W-well, we are going to a place that invites friends.... [I can't lie to you] oh ok listen they thought we were a couple and we have to go 'or else', Its not my fault that they chose us in the list just so you know and-"
"Okay Okay, we can go if you want to, fluttershy darling, But why did they think we were a couple?"
"Well, I dont know."
"Well do you want to go?"
"Sure, And also they will explain the instructions when we get there."
"The princesses?"
I nodded.
"Suprising, but when it comes to mE, Everything is surprising HeHeE"
I giggled and we walked to the palace where the  'Challenge' is being hosted.
We walked in and saw a bunch of ponies.
"My my my, so much ponies- Hey um what is applejack and Rainbow dash doing hErE?"
"Oh hehe, they were chosen in the list, plus I ship them together."
"Ah, thats fine with me, now I have something to tease HER about."
We walked over to them.
"Well I'll be, You actually brought him!"
"Pff, should've left him home in my opinion."
"Ya know I could say the same to you rainbow dash, Jack here should have left yOu home."
Rainbow dash growled at discord but applejack held her from attacking.
I chuckled nervously.
"Hello and welcome everypony, today we are holding a challenge for the best couples in ponyville! Are you all ready?"
