Raven stumbled out of the darkness, pressing her hand against the wall for support, her other arm clenched her side. Her blue, neon dyed hair had dulled by now and was matted in debris. She also felt an odd, unnatural weariness in her light grey eyes, and the bruises on her legs probably should’ve hurt more, but it helped with her skinny jeans covering them so he wouldn’t have to see just how bad it was. She coughed twice, covering her cough with the arm that wasn't leaning on the wall. She panicked for a moment when she realized there was blood on her arm and looked at herself, relaxing slightly when she saw it was from her side, not her mouth. She pulled down the bottom of her dark grey shirt down, analyzing a long streaming stain of crimson.
"Damn, this is polyester..." She groaned smugly, continuing down the hallway, her heart beat pounding in her head and her footsteps echoing down the seemingly endless hallway behind her.
“They have to be here” she thought to herself, “or did they even survive the attack at all?” She loathed asking herself the question that had been stabbing her mind for the last few hours, how many? She had no idea. Raven shook her head, dispersing the thought into thin air. They had to have survived; she knew them well enough to find confidence in that. After roughly ten more agonizing minutes, she came to a small, eerie, black metal room with a concrete floor and single pale blue light. Raven gasped in shock, seeing a blood soaked body crumpled against the far wall, the overhead light casting a dark shadow over most of the person's face. But she didn't need see it. She could make out the gold eyes, silver hair tied back in a ponytail with strands in front of her ears, dark blue and black tank top above pale slashed arms, and dirty jeans tucked into steel-toe army boots.
"Jynx!" Raven ran over to her just to be waved off by Jynx's hand.
"Don't touch me, I'm… fine" she half laughed as she stumbled to her feet, Raven helping her anyway. Jynx leaned her back against the wall behind her when she was finally up, then turned to Raven.
"Wait...Oh no. Where's-?!" Jynx was cut off by a loud banging sound coming from an air vent high on the wall across from them. Jynx clenched her fist and Raven pulled a shotgun out from her dark blue jacket. Each readied for another battle but even Jynx could see the hindering sign of hopelessness in Raven’s posture. A bead of sweat ran down the side of Jynx's face. Though she'd never admit it to Raven, she didn't know if they'd be able fight much longer. Suddenly a leg finally kicked out the vent cover, sending it flying across the room, hitting the ground, and sliding across the concrete floor. It stopped a their feet and both of them tensed as a shadowed figure leaped out of the opened vent and landed in the shadow below. Then the opposing person looked up at them and unexpectedly relaxed, causing Raven and Jynx to freeze in confusion.
"So, they did a number on both of you huh?"
Raven breathed out a long sigh of relief as Ivory walked out of the shadow. Despite the fact that Raven could tell she was exhausted, Ivory looked beaten, but not specifically hurt except a large blood stain. Ivory's black, somewhat past shoulder length hair was dirty, blotted with small patches of blood. She had drawn a snake that spiraled down her arm, likely with war paint or something. The sleeve of the arm it was on was ripped off though the other sleeve of her black shirt was slashed in places, but still there. Her strange intimidating red eyes were, however, confident and defied her tired appearance with her usual a spark of stubborn willpower.
