Somebody keeps sending Genya pick up lines. So he tries to find out who it may be.
Genya: 25 | Sexuality: Pansexual
Muichiro: 23 | Sexuality: Omnisexual. . . . .
Genya couldn't get his mind off of the anonymous pickup lines he was receiving in his mailbox. They were becoming more recent as the days went on, and were by now filling up his office desk where he put them. He couldn't even imagine a woman, about his age, reenacting out such middle school behavior such as creating cheesy pickup lines. Unless... she was actually a middle schooler.
But of course, he hopefully couldn't be fooled enough to catch a case.
There, at his front desk, he sat and read in awe—the plain piece of paper containing his next pick up line. He laughed just at the thought of how desperate this person might've been to get his attention. For how long have they liked him?
However, he only knew two girls he was closest to. Mitsuri and Shinobu. Never could he ever imagine one of them to be this secret admirer. He'd be surprised if it turned out to be one of them—plus, flattered. Truthfully though, somebody else was on his mind. This somebody, he wanted it to be so badly.
His best friend, Muichiro. Oh, how he wished he was the one sending these letters. Yet, something in his head, was solemnly informing him, that it would not be Muichiro.
Slowly shrugging off the possibilities out of his mind, he looked down to eye the note in his hand.
The note read,
If I told you that I work for a delivery service company, would you let me handle your package? ;)
A slight pink hue arose onto the surfaces of Genya's cheeks. The color grew slightly stronger after each word he read. His eyes scanned the paper, yet a second time, in confusion. He sighed, and threw over the note to it's family pile in his basket trash can.
All he knew was that, whoever was sending those notes to his mailbox was well aware of what they wanted. And to Genya, it depended on whoever that person was if they were gonna get it.
He wondered how innocent notes, starting from "Is your name WI-FI? Because I'm really feeling a connection," turned into, well... that.
But all it had let him realize was that, whoever was sending these notes, was slowly losing their patience. The notes had gotten more R-rated by the minute, and he was sure he'd have whoever was behind this, pinned down the moment he found them out.
As the days went on, he began to list down some of his close friends and colleagues. When in a conversation, he would scan thoroughly everyone he knew flirted with him often, and would try to search for any answers in their eyes. This random detective work he never would've thought he would begin, had taken up his daily agenda. He was so focused on finding out this secret admirer.
And he was confident the admirer would be found.
. . . . .
"Has Genya told you about the secret person sending him notes through his mailbox?" Shinobu asked, poking Muichiro on the shoulder.
He slowly shook his head "no" and said, "He's never seemed to bring it up to me, why?"
Mitsuri and Shinobu both looked at each other in unison with huge grins plastered onto their faces. They nodded in confirmation about something as if they could read each others thoughts. Instantly, both of the two girls turned over to Muichiro.
"Do you know who it is?" Mitsuri asked, searching into the smaller boys soul for any answers.
Muichiro took a long, awkward sip of the strawberry limeade in his hands and gradually looked away. He patiently waited for the girls' responses to his rather, obvious hint.
