The day Prince Charming came
Morning came slowly
She had o clue what the day had in store for her
He came galloping towards her father's palace
He was a prince seeking a maiden worth becoming his bride
She cared not for him!
The woodcutter caught her eye
She giggled as she walked over to him
He stole her kisses, he stole her heart
The prince still stayed looking for his maiden
The woodcutter broke her heart
Now all she had to give was her broken, torn apart heart
Who'd want that?
She gave it to the knight, to the stable boys
But it always returned to her more broken
Who'd want a shattered heart now?
She gave her kisses to the servants
Her heart along with it
Now what did she have to offer?
A shattered heart, with little remains?
She was not a special gem any longer
Her knight in shining-armor would think she was a rusty gem
She gave it back to her loving father
With tears in her eyes she whispered "I have failed you"
He looked at her and with tears running down his face
He gently said "O daughter why were you not satisfied with my love?
Though it is broken, I van fix it. Though it is torn I can mend it.
And my daughter, I love you and always will.
You are a bright and brilliant gem in your father's eyes.
We will mend your torn heart together
So the slow and painful process began
The molded her ugly heart into a clean pure white heart once again
He also returned it full of his love
He had forgiven her and her broken heart
She was a special gem once again
Suddenly the prince came in view
Was he the One?
Was he her knight-in-shining-armor?
Her Prince Charming?
Could he be?
She remembered her broken heart
He had never given his heart away
Why would he want her?
She remembered the whispers in her ear
Telling her the would love her till the day she died
She remembered the winks, the kisses, as if it was yesterday
The prince could never or would ever love her
His kind words answered by her cruel remarks rushed to her brain
Would she ever be able to love again?
Her heart was clean but atlas she had never forgiven herself
The pain grew till she could leave her apartments for fear that HE would be there
She grew sick not physically but mentally sick, spiritually sick
The king understood her pain and knew there was nothing able to cure her
Expect orgiveness to herself
One day she opened a torn and dusty book
A read the words "a new creation" it hit her to fully forgive herself
She must give it to her creator her king her heavenly king
She gave it to Him
In less then a fortnights she was well enough to venture out of her apartments
She no longer feared about Him...
She was finally a PURE WHITE gem once again
The prince quickly noticed her
He offered his hand
She accepted
The day was set, the dress picked, the plans in action
She had finally gave her heart to the heavenly king
And now she is and always will be a
PRECIOUS GEM
