1) you want to be aggressive when you are coming out of something that is called a block that runners use for sprint events.
2) you want to try not to overstretch your arms during your first stride out of the block.
3) before a race on this event you want to train for the race, some ways to do this is running the 100 meters twice a week to get used to it.
4) some foods you need to eat are bananas, half of a sports bar, half cup of dry cereal, and a peice of fruit, such as a banana or an orange.
5) some foods you don't want to eat before a race is spicy food, fried food, anything dairy, sugary drinks, protein bars.
(Well I will be doing a chapter on ever event there is and there is a lot of them so I hope to get it over with by October 6 because that is my first cross country meet and then after that I won't be able to update again till maybe December but I am already stressed because my coach called me captain for the first time so anyway goodnight everyone and peace)
