Urzael walked for about ten minutes, through the palace, outside along a long path, to a large building which will be the first place that ships will be constructed and, for now, researched. He spotted Chino in one of the first rooms down a small hall after he entered.
"Hey there, Chino, need some help with the design, as in accents to the first ship you're making?" Urzael said, She looked up from the papers she buried herself in.
"Would be nice to have some help, I'm pretty smart, but damn Sora really put the taxing efforts onto me." She said, Urzael chuckled. He blinked next to her and materialized a chair.
"How do you keep this organized, like seriously, you have three boards covered in papers and drawings, and you barely have space on this desk for any new pages or pens." He told her, Chino sighed.
"A bigger room would have been nice, thought of turning this entire room to a static teleporter so I can have as big of a room as I want." She replied. "Ah, here, this is the general shape of the main body of the ship. Feel free to add your accents because the only thing that will change as far as the ship's design is the weight." She continued, Urzael nodded. He started exploring the depths of his mind, looking for someone good with art skills, or better than his, at least. When Urzael found an artist, he asked for their opinion.
"The general shape of what you ask decorated is what looks like a bird, I'd say decorate the wings with feathers, and the front to be decorated like a head, but covered in whatever element it may be aligned with, what element? That's your choice." They said, Urzael nodded and exited his mind, back into reality. He told Chino of the design idea he came across, and she liked it.
"Well, that was one of the last things we needed, normal ships will have the basic design I presented to you, but this one is the first! It's got to look cool, you know?" Chino told him, Urzael nodded, they both got up and moved to the large central area. Where most the systems were tested, but now it's time to put the pieces together. Urzael followed the designs and Chino helped, the engine, the reactor, the fuel supply, the many system control panels and monitors for the cockpit, and then the main body, the wings, the entrance, and the windows. Finally, after about twenty minutes of construction via telekinesis, they then both relax. Chino goes off to her home to sleep, Urzael walked with her out of curiosity because he's never seen her home in the years he's been a lord. Chino's home is rather basic, surprisingly. She directed Urzael to see the inside, he went in and it was actually much bigger, a spatial bubble.
"Damn, Chino. You definitely have a lot of stuff from the 'old world'." He said, every wall was lined with displays of artifacts, old idols worshipping gods, several weapons, even some gems containing ether matter. She nodded.
"I'm a collector, Kieba jokingly calls me a kleptomaniac, which sometimes I wonder myself." She said, they both laughed. Though Chino was definitely tired, so Urzael left to give her what little time she could to sleep. When he got out the streets were nearly empty, but he saw Kellan laying on one of the rooftops. Urzael blinked up there.
"So, you're a lord now, Kellan. Look around you, all of this. The empire the cities, the worlds soon, even. We live entirely to protect those who can't for themselves, and punish those that make the lives of innocent people worse, criminals, if you will." Urzael said. Kellan nodded, and smiled, a little.
"Yeah, it's a lot to take in, but one day, we won't need to fight for the people anymore. I hear there are going to be academies in every city for learning magic, so everyone will know at least some magic, to protect themselves." Kellan said. Urzael looks up at the stars, and thinks, that for just a second, everything seemed peaceful, in a time of such rising treats.
"The academy will introduce a new system, new ranks for everyone, if you will. Those who complete the first year will be given the rank bronze mage, the second silver, the third gold, the fourth platinum, and the fifth, diamond. Each rank will be licensed to use magic that they were trained in. Which you can choose which element you try to start with. Alastair will make the perfect teacher, I mean come on, he literally lives in the grand archive's tower!" He explained to Kellan. "Also, with the new ranks are new emblems, and they definitely look cool." He continued. Kellan gave a slow nod.
"Just filling my head with knowledge tonight, aren't you?" He joked. They both chuckled, Kellan got up, gave a farewell, and teleported away. Urzael was left to himself at that point. To which, he decided that he was going to spy on whatever's happening in the abyss.
He went into an open area, then made his portal to, which he had full control of the portal, so when he crossed in, he closed the portal. The abyss is mostly dark rocks, with many cracks along walls and the floor, all of which have the same visible crimson energy flowing around the abyss. Even though the abyss is basically a massive cavern, the ceiling has dark clouds and the very bottom is a portal to the void, along the ridges he walk, using advanced light and dark magic to make himself invisible, walked past bridges, through tunnels, but he still barely found any demons, when he made it to the citadel of the abyss. In the very center, there is a very, very large building, vertically goes through most the entire dimension, he tried getting closer to see what was happening, and there Urzael saw him. Surtr was standing in front of the entrance, staring back at him. They both knew what came next.
