Emmy's POVThe movie ended and I placed the iPad in front of me, turning around in Niall's lap to see him on his phone.
His blue eyes flickered to mine as he looked up from the screen.
"Movie over, Princess?" He asked brushing some of my hair away. I nodded, trying to peel away the headphones from my
ears.Niall chuckled, placing his phone down and untangling the cord, lifting the headpiece from my head.
"M'hungry." I mumbled around the dummy that was in my mouth.
He looked at the clock seeing that it was 12:32. "Oh yeah. It's lunch time isn't it? Did you have breakfast?" He asked, lifting me to his hip and strolling out of the door.
I shook my head, holding on around his neck. "Aw, Em. I'm sorry. You must be starving."
Niall could tell I was weary about leaving the room since I could hear them talking from downstairs. It wasn't yelling anymore but they were still in a disagreement.
"It's okay, no more yelling." He cooed, placing a light kiss to the high of my cheek.
I nodded, sucking on the dummy that was still placed in my mouth.
Niall walked past the side of the living room as Liam and Harry were standing up, their faces fuming. Just looking at their faces was a scary sight. I've never seen someone that mad.
"Whatcha want to eat, bear?" He asked rummaging through the cabinets.
I shrugged my shoulders, eventually just settling with some cut up fruit and a bottle.
Just before I was sitting in my chair, a loud yell filled the air and a crash was ringing through the house. A whimper left my mouth, jumping in fright.
Tears fell from my eyes, my lips trembling as the yelling once again continued."Shh. Hold on, baby. Stay right here, Daddy is gonna go see what happened." He said quickly placing me on the table and running out of the kitchen.
"Daddy." I cried, not liking the feeling of being alone again. My body shook lightly with terror as the walls shook from the voices. Everyone was yelling, the four voices mixing together and the sounds of shoving and grunting echoed. Carefully, I slid off the table, crawling underneath and scooting towards the corner as the voices got closer. I didn't want to be around them.
Louis' POV
A soft grin was set on my face as I parked the car in the drive of the house. I had just met with Emmy's mom.
Surprisingly, she gave us full custody of her daughter, leaving her in our guardianship. It did upset me with how quickly her 'mother' was to give her up; but I couldn't be happier that she was finally ours.
My eyebrows furrowed with confusion as I walked through the garage, loud voices being muffled. Maybe they were playing music or messing with Em.
I fumbled with my keys, unlocking the door and stepping inside the house.
I jumped slightly as I came to realization all the boys were shouting at the top of their lungs, fighting.
It was barely noticeable, but I could hear the faint sound of whimpering and sobs coming from my right.I placed my keys on the counter, sliding my shoes off and padding towards the sound. I know that crying anywhere. It's Emma.
My head twisted and turned trying to find her until I realized it was coming from under the table. Slowly, my knees bent, scrunching up as I looked under the table. The sight that was met with my eyes, broke my heart. There was Emmy, in her light purple onsie and a pink dummy in her mouth, crying her eyes out. Her knees were brought up to her chest, chin rested on top of them. The heavy stream of tears built up in her widened eyes as she saw me.
