Walking back out of the locker room Alexia pulls her hair back into a clip. She showered and changed into a white cropped tank top and oversized white sweatpants. As she reaches the front desk. A six-foot-two man walks around the corner. His light brown hair is short with a clean-shaven face, and his dark brown eyes look like they are filled with pure happiness. He's wearing a pair of Lululemon shorts, Nike shoes, and a black T-shirt with Trainer printed across the back. "Hey, Alexia." He smiles as she scans her tag to check out.
"Hi...? Have we met?" He looks familiar.
"Finn." He extends his hand to her. "I've seen you around... and your name is on the screen." He points to the computer.
"Oh, right. Hi Finn, nice to formally meet you." She remembers the first time that she saw him. It was the day August signed her up and they came here for a date. He is the one August was glaring at.
"I was–"
Cut off by the sound of Alexia's phone ringing. "Sorry." She says as she begins to dig into her pocket. "Shit. I'm really sorry I have to take this."
Nodding softly, "Yea. No, that's totally fine."
Swiping her thumb across the screen she lifts the phone to her ear. "Hey, what's up?" She asks, walking away from the desk.
"Have you talked to August lately? I mean, I know you're not really on talking terms but you have some overlap, right? Have you seen him?"
She can hear the panic in Avianna's voice. "Uhm...No, I ran into him a few weeks ago but it was quick, we didn't talk much. Why?"
"Last week we were supposed to meet up for lunch. He didn't show, I assumed that it was just him getting caught at work, that is until I stopped by his apartment this morning and he didn't answer. I have been calling him and no answer I could be overreacting but–"
"It's okay. I get it."
"I'm really sorry. I didn't know who else to call, I don't know anybody he works with. Can you just let me know if you see or hear from him?"
"Yea. I'll see what I can do."
"Again, I'm really sorry. I know you two are done and I really tried to hold off from calling you for as long as possible."
"It's really okay Avi. Just because we don't talk anymore doesn't mean that I don't wish we did, I still love him no matter how much he infuriates the hell out of me. Besides..." Sighing she drops her head shaking it, "We have an agreement."
"Huh? An agreement? What's that mean?"
"Nothing... I'll call you later if I can get in contact with him." Hanging up the phone she walks back towards the desk.
"Everything alright?"
"Yeah... You ever just have those people in your life where sometimes you wish you could go back to the moment you met and just... walk in the other direction? Save yourself so much pain, worry, and stress, but then you have to wonder if it's all worth it?" She asks as she rubs her hands over her face.
"I suppose we all have that one person."
"Anyway... Can you hand me the helmet and jacket that should be right below the desk there?" She points over to the corner.
