Roman's POV:

"Roman" My mother said from her spot on the bed. "Yes mama?" I replied from my spot on the floor next to her. "Can you promise me something please?" I never liked promises, they sucked. But for her, I'd make an exception. "Yes mama, what is it?" I asked her curiosity lasing my voice. "Promise to never let ANYONE near your watch ok? And follow the rules." I grabed her soft pale hand to my face a small smile stretching across my face"Yes mama, I promise." Her eyes looked so weak without that spark that nurture me through my years. I saw her lips moving, saying something I didn't quite catch. "Tha......love....you.....Roman......." Her hand went limp in my hands going cold. Her chest stopped rising, her eyes closed and peaceful looking. "....mom?....."
